E bellissima, davvero, questa canzone di Bruce Springsteen ed è quella che me lo ha fatto conoscere, la prima fra quelle Del Boss, che ho sentito, casualmente, alla radio, mentre sbrigavo le faccende domestiche.... E arrivata immediatamente nelle profondità della mia anima, come è successo solo con poche altre canzoni, è ho provato un mare di emozioni, le stesse che provo tuttora ogni volta che ascolto le canzoni di The Boss. Si, perché sono tante, diverse ma simili, tutte belle ed indimenticabili. Così, inevitabilmente, succede che ci innamoriamo di "Hungry hearth" e di"Born to run", di "Dancing in the dark" e di"My miracle" e via dicendo.... ma soprattutto ci innamoriamo una volta e per sempre di Bruce Springsteen,, del suo modo di interpretare le canzoni, della grinta e della passione con cui canta e di quella sua "vociona" un po' roca, che sa, però, essere anche dolce e struggente nelle canzoni d'amore....
I am the woman in the black hoodie who danced with Bruce in the video. Those girls were nothing but rude, pushy, bullies all night long starting well before Bruce came out to play. They were not nice people at all. I am embarrassed and mortified by them. I'm 15 years older than those kids, but I never acted that way when I was their age. I wanted to shake Bruce's hand after he pulled me up on stage and danced with me; however, those girls took the option to pay my respects to him away from me. Nonetheless, it was the best day of my life! He is my true inspiration. I only hope and pray he noticed how different I am from them. I wish I could have said thank you. :(
I stood next to three of those girls (the 4th one tried to jump on during "Born to Run" and was escorted out earlier), and they were rude and pushing the entire evening. They knew nothing about Bruce, but pushed their way to the stage. The entire evening I kept telling myself to just focus on Bruce and the band. Have to remember it was FREE and a music festival. I think they were Pat Green fans.
Might be the worst, most self-involved, group Bruce has ever brought up on stage. Didn't know the song, didn't know what they were supposed to do---but made sure to get their selfie.
Absolutely the worst part of the evening. I was in front and assure you that Bruce was highly annoyed with these kids. He had a hard time getting them off stage. Definitely ruined the song and transition to the next song.
