Man you and me both! I'm still kicking myself in the ass! Read my comment to Ken Hoey! Isn't great to be able to experience this Guitar God for the first time. I knew a couple of songs years ago but never realized what I was missing until about 6 weeks ago! Thank God!!!!!
The guys a musical genius.....Growing up listening to basically every guitarist out there ...and although they're all great in their own respect when it comes to Buckethead what he plays is what my soul has been yearning for my entire life....his playing instantly connects with me and how I always imagined as a kid what the greatest guitarist would sound like....his tone and phrasing are amazing...he;s not just running scales here folks....close you eyes and open your heart....he's got a ton of emotion and feeling into what he's playing....to me he's the most underrated guitarist out there.....other musicians hardly talk about him but they know he exists...he's the top of the food chain....Truly touched by Gods hand the skill that he has....I feel blessed to know of his existance and be able to listen to and enjoy his talent!
You hit the nail right on the head there!!! I was very ill at the beginning of the year and Buckethead's music helped get me through it. I like lots of guitarists but Buckethead is on another level, his music speaks to my soul, but my soul is too blown away to answer
His music is beyond words... reaches deep to my soul... makes me happy, makes me sentimental, makes me cry, makes me motivated, makes me reach high for my dreams and goals.. makes me want to fight for my life and live it to the fullest... and that's Buckethead... his music reaches to you beyond any words can.. so glad I discovered his music.😇😊
Jude just pull over until the song is over. Haha. One song that will get me a ticket every time is Highway Star by Deep Purple. And yes Buckethead can make you forget that your driving
People dont realize buckethead been making music since the 80s. I dont wanna sound biased but buckethead is definitely top 5, even top 3. In my opinion he’s number 1 but to be factual, nobody puts in the time and effort like buckethead does. His skill is out of this world but yet he doesn’t necessarily show it because he doesn’t have to. Buckethead knows what’s he’s capable of and his reach is beyond comprehension.
It's 1 year later Paul and I'm 64 now and just discovering bucket head I can't believe I missed him all these years but not gonna worry about that got a lot of stuff to listen to going through the pikes .. Started with one numerically and up .only on 8 Though recently I have jumped around I went up to 3 hundreds to the thirties fifties just to see the different stuff and never am I disappointed As someone else said in the comments this is what I envision envisioned the greatest guitarist in the world would be be Long live bucket The greatest who ever lived
Its very easy to get lost in the pikes... 3 of his best/most complete works are The Elephant Man's Alarm Clock, The Cuckoo Clock of Hell, and Giant Robot. There is a Japanese version called Giant Robot NTT.
Ive been listening to him for 19 years and can say that the 'pikes' are definitely not his best work, but there are some great ones(#60). Population Override is my favorite album by him
Been listening to him since guitar hero where it had Jordan on it bout 2009. So glad I stumbled on this guy. His style just appeals to me. Riff master!!!
Just turned 63. Learned of BH through a cover of Soothsayer by a phenomenal female guitarist named Mel some time back. Had to look up the original. BH is now on my A list for listening music.
Everytime I listen this dancing in the snow, I love it a little bit more. Such control and a great riff. Bravo bucket head you are a guitar God. I have listened too much of your music. This will s my favorite song
I have played guitar for 30 yrs,,I'm pretty good,,I've heard played , and marveled the best ,,,BUT DAMN! Just so expressive and dynamic not to mention his speed,,RESPECT!
You're right about that he does make the world a more beautiful place and his music helps to motivate me when I don't even want to get up and go to work I put on some kickass Buckethead songs and I can make it through the day thank you mr. Bucket and you are so awesome
A good friend mentioned Buckethead a few years ago, thank goodness! I've been a guitar fan since Hendrix was alive but didn't listen to most because of the singing that went with it. Its my go-to music now. It is simply grand!
I went to a festival where I....sorta...saw colonel claypools bucket of bernie brains play but I had a head full of acid among other chemical sundries and barely remember ever having witnessed les claypool on stage playing with buckethead. One of my biggest regrets. I'd have stayed sober til that was over so I could keep it with me forever.
followed brian for so long now, listen to him too and from work, at home and he is just my type of guitarist, no words can express what he's done or doing, all we know is it's good... Hope your feeling much much better brian and the world still shines back at you...
It goes to show reading RU-vid video comments can yield something beautiful - sometimes. Buckethead was mentioned in one I read recently. That is how I found him and I will “keep” him now for hopefully so many more years. As he seems to have an innate drive to express himself perfectly musically, I hope he will also have a drive to make certain he has the very best doctors to help him keep up with his physical challenges. Great doctors will put his mind at ease so he can play play play for himself and for us a long time!
The thing I love about this guy is how melodic he is, then he pulls out Some next level shred/wierd stuff and it all sounds effortless. Seeing him do it live is nuts. He doesn't get half the credit or attention he should. If you've heard buckethead, you know buckethead... If not then you wouldn't have a clue who he was... Whereas everyone knows who slash is just because of his name, regardless of listening to his music... Slash? Oh yeah he's that guitar guy.... Buckethead? Who? The guy is an artist that needs more recognition imho.
I saw him live several times over ten years ago. Amazing. Even if your not a guitar person if he comes to your town check him out. 1 of the best ever . And a sincere guy . 🎢🎡🔥
I think he passes him but that is just my opinion lol.. Their both gods so they both win.. Imagine if BH and Hendrix both did a riff together.. That would of been something..
