Two big dislikes. My flange is flush with my floor so I didn't use the blue adapter as per the instructions. My toilet rocked side to side so I removed the toilet to take out the black insert, also, as per the instructions, and was shocked to see how much paper thin wax was pushed downward beyond the horn & ready to go down the drain. I'm glad I saw it in time. -- The rocking continued after removing the black insert. Perfect Seal was a 1/8 inch too tall for my flush to the floor flange & my 2019 Toto toilet.

I am having the exact same issue here. It adds enough flange height that the terlette rocks. I have to go back to an old fashion wax ring seal 8-(

replaced my bathroom floor . flange was 3/4 " below tile so instead of doubling up wax ring which ive done many times and always worked fine, and against my better judgement, I used this wax ring and it leaked....... alot...!!!.... Im very experienced with installing toilets .. This product is faulty

If you are very experienced you should know that you never double up wax rings you should have used spacers and some it the proper way

I have been having a problem for nearly 2 freaking years now with trying to get my American Standard toilet to SEAL!! Flange is on top of sub floor and I just thought all my problems was fixing to go away while standing in line to check out at Lowe's buying PERFECT SEAL!!! I Removed the top blue extension and black ring in wax ring! And my toilet looks like it's ready to go mud riding it's sitting up so high of ground now!! Lol. Anybody got any advice? I need help please. Thanks in advance. Time to pull it back up. 😤 💩

Use the Fuidmaster Better than Wax seal or Kory's Wax Free Seal. The Perfect Seal does not work on all flange heights. I just pulled a toilet and thought to use one of these but the flange is above the floor and there is no way of pushing the toilet down hard enough to bolt it down without the toilet being 1/2 inch off the floor.

You showed how a wax ring looks after years of use, where's he picture of the one you are showing after many years of use? Seem to me he rubber will deteriorate over time where the traditional wax ring would be just fine.

It does not work if yr flan is too tall :-(

Yup, same here. My flange is only about 1/8" to 3/16" about the floor. I removed the blur rubber and that black plastic ring and the terlette still rocks. They have a really neat device, but it's plastic "flange" ring is too thick.
