High Monk + a bit of lone shadows moveset

Dryleaf arts is kinda slow and really not that different from normal fist weapons. I think you can powerstance it as well. 1H is too clunky and slow. To answer your question, this is just dane’s footwork.

Powerstancing the two is a third martial arts moveset.

@@nuvalewa You're right. After the latest patch it might be viable (more poise damage compared to 1.12). Against bosses tho,powerstancing dryleaf arts & dane's footwork will never be as good as heavy weapon i.e hammer/greatsword.

Palm blast gets hyper armor and does pretty good damage fully charged though

Yup, palm blast is kinda OP. Dryleaf Dane one shot me using palm blast when 1st time i fought him

you can poise through most attacks with charged palm blast

rolling/crouching attacks I hardly ever use, jumping and running attack you can watch my other vid linked at the end of this vid

Ronin armor. Defeat Shabriri and you’ll get the set

​@@K4IT0Z before the final boss. Unless you mean meet him the first time. In which you just need to search the area after Rellana, twin moon knight. The first grace you see with Leda and the hornsent guy has the gesture in a letter "may the best win", Dane himself is at another grace soon after, just follow the road to lower elevation

@@K4IT0Z dryleaf whirlwin AOW (Rauh Ancient Ruins East, near Miquella's cross). Firts you must obtain Drtleaf arts from Dryleaf Dane( you'll find him at Moorth Ruins after beating Rellanna)

I'm assumimng you meant the DLC, very different, you really need to collect scadutree fragments. use summons and your highest dps build from the og ER. This DLC is no joke, use any means necessary

@ARPGTV2K2X no i meant the footwork compared to the normal dryleaf arts you get earlier on

@@doktorfish6143 yeah scale with STR & Dex. the AOW (you can get this earlier) depending on elemental effects you wanna forge , it also scale with INT,Faith and ARC

Ive tried dragonbolt and i doesn’t work, i think bloodflame wouldn’t work either

Dryleaf arts and Dane's footwork cannot be buffed. Neither greases or spells. If you want bleed or other elemental damage you can only use infusion.

STR 60 DEX 60 Endurance 40, I started the DLC at level 240, been preparing for the dlc 2 weeks prior

very late in the game, final mission with miquella's squad, don't wanna spoil it for you.

@@hidan407 dryleaf whirlwind AOW, you can get near rauh ancient ruin east , from there get to church of the bud ( summon dryleaf dane to help you with the boss), after that proceed forward where you find a special tree ( burn it using messmer's kindling), you'll unlock a new area, just get to the top and you'll find the whole miquella's squad, fight em and dryleaf footwork is one of the many rewards

@@hidan407 fight dirty, use your highest dps build and make sure you at least have level 15 shadow realm's blessing ( collect as much scadutree fragments as you can)

Not sure, all I can remember you can forge it to lightning, occult, poison

@@chase4773 just checked, RN it's only lightning,sacred,poisn,blood & occult besides ( standard,heavykeen,&quality)

It just seems strange that every other seemingly physical infusion could be turned to cold (like palm strike) but not that one. Either way, great video, exactly what I was looking for to see the differences between Danes footwork and dryleaf arts.

yeah, this weapon is the reason i bought the dlc, i play lots of yakuza games, and dragon's dogma 2 is kinda disappointing (combat wise)

I don’t know how to play ER using Mouse and Keyboard.

R1 is Left mouse button R2 is Shift + Left Mouse Button AOW is Shift + Right Mouse Button Although the key bindings for your keyboard might be different
