To my mind, this is a very auto-biographical set of lyrics, describing her angst being pressured to jump through the many hoops demanded of young artists like herself by the highly commercialized music industry - spending many hours in the studio, doing media interviews, rushing off to promotional photo shoots, etc.

"This song marks the first time I'm opening up about my life story to my audience. Prior to this, I never felt the need to express my emotions, fearing the vulnerability it would bring. Writing about your fears, and feelings and constructing a song based on your inner emotions made me realize how important it is to share your story with your core fans.
