It’s coming to me today! I couldn’t resist. It seems both intuitive and intimidating at the same time. Having a palette that lays down all the groundwork of your makeup is compelling. I’m all for making things very basic then adding some jazz if you want or need it. It is such pleasure to watch a makeup artist work with this.

I ordered this off Beautylish website! I used it this morning and loved it, but wanted to see how professionals were using it!! I am in full agreement; the pigment is so good, it lays down perfectly and I’m such a nude palette girl, so this was awesome to use. I tried it on my brows, eyes, cheeks, contour. This will be coming with me when I travel! I will also be doing a You Tube episode for us women over 60 who still love to play with makeup 💄 ❤thanks for the great tips!!😀

Mallory!!! Sister from another Mister!! I had an obnoxiously large collection of Barbies. I had two horses, a house with a working bathtub that made bubbles, all kinds of furniture and clothes that filled a huge adult’s dresser (I am of the age that you bought the doll and the clothes came separate). My family grew up with very little, but my parents sacrificed so I could have presents on birthdays and Christmas…my point, however, is I fully played with my menagerie of Barbie characters and their accessories until I was also 14. When I babysat younger girls, I often brought a few Barbies and some outfits in a small suitcase to play with them. The stories I told with them rivaled soap operas. They would get into car accidents (I had the motor home and Corvette), and had permanent scarring. I won’t go into extreme detail, but my Barbie’s led dark lives!! And that darkness began when I was 3 or 4 and continued on well into my teenage years. Anyway, I got so excited when you compared a unique, new makeup product to the nirvana of getting a new Barbie for the cast of characters!! You made my day! My most recent purchase was the new Natasha Denona Nude palette. It definitely gave me the new Barbie feels!! Thanks for the video, this palette looks gorgeous! Hope you are well and enjoying the start of the BEST time of the year…the season of warm browns and pumpkin spice!!!

I have this palette and excited to use it some more! I would definitely return it if it came damaged. The same thing happened to me when I ordered the Natasha Denona Biba palette was delivered to me. One shade was damaged and I couldn't get past paying a lot of money for a damaged palette. Sephora was kind enough to replace the palette and I didn't have to return the damaged one (this was during the pandemic). Just make sure that you can prove that it was already damaged when you first opened it.

OH! I ordered this and am so excited for this video! Watching now and then saving to watch again when it arrives . I’m kind of intimidated by it -- I think you should exchange the palette for a new one. You are allowed to dig your fingernails into your own palette…but nobody else’s nails are allowed!!

Definitely don’t be intimidated! Once you start playing you’ll see that the formulas blend beautifully, and it will be one of the most reached for palettes you have for SO many reasons✨

I like the idea of this palett a lot, but here is the thing i am just a consumer not a make up artist. I have one skin color and one eyebrow color so what am I to do with these colors for different hair and skin tones. I wish more reviews honestly touched on that or at least showed you what to do with them in stead of giving the standard: oh it is awesome it works for all skin tones! Because that is not quite a realistic anwser in my mind for consumers. I think a light and dark palett in this format would have been truely inclusive.

Very interested in this palette. My concerns: 1) Will the pomades dry out too soo? How will they stay emollient without the types of covers on the inside (like Patrick Ta uses)? 2) Why are the powder shades so small and specifically very narrow if they are to be used on bigger brushes (for example to bronze & sculpt the face)? I looked into what upsalite is, and it is so cool! It was created in a Swedish university accidentally and it an anhydrous magnesium carbonate, which works better than talc at keeping oils at bay, and since it is made in a lab, it is cruelty-free, ie no child labour or mining required! Sign me up!!

The way I see it, if every time you open your Danessa Myricks palette and your first thought goes to the nail mark in it, rather than inspiring you for the look you want to do, then you have the right to exchange for a non-defective palette. The palette was damaged outside of your control.

I am skeptical that any of the DM cosmetics are as good quality as say Pat McGrath or Natasha Denona. Those products are made at safer labs and higher standards. Danessa Myricks cosmetics are all Made in PRC/ China!! Have a look at the fine print on our packaging and compare to every other high quality brand - none of the other brands are Made in China! They are all made in France, Italy, Korea or a much safer, cleaner environment. Major red flag that no one is paying attention to.
