I bought it 3 weeks ago. I'm sold foreva,,,,, I use it has a foundation and primer. U can build it. I use concealer underneath when I wears as a foundation. I no longer need a summer tint. This is perfection!!!💯

The look came together beautifully. Have you ever tried the mac paint pots for your smile lines? I saw Savanah sylver here on RU-vid doing it and it worked wonders on my smile lines. Especially with the pat mcgrath foundation

Yea i was seeing that too on other videos as far as coverage but I guess you can build it up? I'm a medium-full coverage girl. Or that universal as a primer
I’ve actually been enjoying the universal as a primer and ended up exchanging 8 for 9. Nine is a flawless match for me. I’m been having luck with the product as either a primer or just for a little coverage, but I haven’t used it as a setting powder. (I do still set with a different powder!!) I feel like it gets even better throughout the day on me! It held up really well on you and I loved the overall look you created 😘

@@MoniseSeward I’ve always struggled with Danessa’s shades! 9 is an amazing match for me, while 8 pulled a little yellow. If it helps, I wear Nars New Caledonia, Fenty 450, Dior 7N…Hope you find the one that works for you!
Hi, I think your video is such a a great representation of this product. I recently purchased, mostly to even out skin texture. I was unsure how to apply, when to apply, how I am going to use this balm, etc. I am so happy that you showed the different ways to use it. My friend , Miss Dion, from Dion Loves Makeup, recommended this video and I am so happy she did. Your skin looked amazing! So smooth! It blurred beautifully. I do have dryer skin so I am concerned about that but hoping that if I moisturize well, before applying, it will work for me. I am also a little concerned because I yellow very easily and the shade that I chose looks to be slightly yellow. I chose shade 2. Thank you! I am now subscribed!
It was good to see how the makeup held up after several hours. I think it will take some getting used to, this balm to powder, especially if one prefers to finish everything off with a *powder*. I like the overall look😍🥰
I finally received mine in the mail. I was going to pass on this at first because I have normal to dry skin. But I've watched so many videos on this product and it's been suggested to add a little more moisture into your skin prep before using this product. So we'll see. Really enjoyed and appreciate your review. I love how your look turned out. TFS! 😊
Absolutely do use moisturizer. I discovered that a thin and light application of this product has worked well. Too much will look dry on the skin since it does suck up the natural oil on the skin.
I cannot do without powder so this will be impossible to use , it looks really good on you though. I think I will love it as a primer then , use a tint to finally set it with powder.
I got the 8 but saw a review of someone darker than me with a 7 . The 7 is more neutral and I have a more neutral tone. I'm worried about 8 being too warm but seeing you try both its kind of obvious the product is so sheer it may not matter. I'm oily so that's the only reason I got it especially on my nose.
I don’t wear foundation unless it’s for a specific occasion because I like how I look without it. I still wear concealer under my eyes and to spot conceal. This has gotten mixed reviews on the Sephora review section. I would have to look at the ingredients because I get bad acne with heavy silicones in my makeup. I can’t use the benefit porefessional for that reason. I think I may like a tinted moisturizer type product better than this.
It looks like this would be best as primer. Shade 8 is technically supposed to be my shade, but I think I would still go with 7 since I’m more neutral. Regardless I’m hesitant to get it since my skin leans dry. Anyway you look lovely. This was a great review.
Okay I've seen enough vids now where I'm convinced I need this!! I did see one person with oily skin who didn't like it, but my skin is normal to dry. Your skin looked amazing! Will you be keeping shade #9 as a summer shade or will you return it?
I definitely think 7 would’ve worked better for you or maybe 7 with a little 8 if you needed warmth because 7 is basically the same shade as 8 but neutral. We’re the same complexion. That’s what I plan to get but trying to find a review from someone with my same skin color to confirm the shade match. Most people are buying 8 and 9 even and they’re reporting that these shades are too warm or too dark. 🤦🏽♀️
@@LBDBeauty I finally came across a video after watching yours. She was much darker and did a wear test with 7. It looked great and blended perfectly. Since she’s darker than I am and neutral undertone, I’m going to go with that one. I’m never in the sun to the degree that I need to change foundation but I think it will still blend well based on the review I saw. I’ll try to find her name. If you’re interested in her review.
Thank you for your review as someone between shades this speaks to me as I can switch between shades as well I think the DM side is perfect and lwould probably use as a primer or alone because some days are not really busy for me but I so want to look put together and not so much a full face
I think it’s good as a primer, but on its own it seems like it has less coverage than a lot of light coverage products on the market. I have discoloration around my mouth too and think a lot of women do. Maybe it’s from estrogen.
