I have both #7 & #8 I mix them and it turns our good. Tones the yellow way down…hope that helps! It definitely works for me and keeps my oils at bay. I am in healthcare and always in motion so my t-zone is always shiny. I do not have to blot as much when using this balm. Also I live in the south (Georgia) so it’s humid.
Myself personally, I love this product though I use the Universal shade and I use it underneath my other foundations because the other shades didn't work for me. The key is to let the balm sit for a little bit and it starts to get matte.
I’m glad you liked it in the end. You have to let it sit/dry down and it’s a light to medium coverage. I have combo oily skin, and use it either as a primer or no makeup makeup days. Also there’s an 8.5 that you might like better.
I think #8.5 would be a better match for you as it’s not as yellow as #8. I found fingers worked best overall for application and even coverage, then I use my concealer to spot conceal. I love how well it controls my oils. I can get away without having to touchup or blot.
The primer/foundation looks very good on your skin! It didn't appear too yellow to me either under the studio or natural light. I think this was a great SUCCESS!! 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
Hi Mufidah, I can see what you mean about the foundation being yellow. I could see it before you went over it with the sponge and that seemed to tone it down a bit. Your skin looks great after the concealer and powder. In the natual light, I think it looks beautiful. You're a great advertisement for the product because it looks great on you! I definitely have to try it because I live in a hot humid climate. Going to get that eye/lip liner. I have brown lip liners , but not deep dark brown like the eye pencil. Have a great evening. ❤🌹💐

What I don’t understand is this is supposed to be a mattfying product and yet it has hyalaraunic acid in it which draws water in the air to your face….
You were being so negative in the beginning, not giving it a chance to settle. It looks wonderful at the end. It’s a great product with great coverage.
The final look is good as usual… and the colour worked out…. I thought you were trying out the foundation… so you wouldn’t add the concealers and powders etc to test the product…
