Never-before-seen early test footage from Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc for PSP. Contains an unused murder case that did not feature in the final game, early versions of character sprites with noteable visual differences, and an unused (placeholder?) audio track.

Spoilers for chapter 1 in danganronpa 1 But Leon and sayaka were the first characters designed and they were used to design all the other ones so the creators were tired of looking to the design and then killed them at the start

@@softbread2073 I think they were talking about the art style, this being a very early model. If you looked the older, older versions of the beta characters, they are mostly all stunning. Beta Celeste is beautiful.

@@boo435 I honestly prefer Celeste's beta design than the final one. Not only that, Celeste's personality is a total badass and much more sinister than the Celeste we have now. If you saw Leon Kuwata's Distrust Execution, Celeste is the only one who actually smiled during the execution sequence.

wtf, with that design i could understand why Genocide Jill kept bullying Hina's "milkers". in the final version they looked normal sized so i never understood Jill's fixation on them but the trial tests they are enormous.

@@arindammishra2329 Mukuro was created very late in development. Which means that she didn't exist yet and this was the real Junko who was killed by Leon. A non-mastermind Junko would be much easier for Leon to kill than Mukuro.

LMAOO first leon is a male, is strong and was armed, he had some advantage, but by the way the final version lacks sense too, her dead to be that early was so unnecessary and out of place, it would have been better if she actually died on case 5 , instead of getting her dead body reused , and after founding she was the mastermind’s sister & right hand even less sense LOL

Kyoko was supposed to cut her hair short at some point in the story, but they rewrote it and let Kyoko keep her long hair as a special touch for Kyoko's and Sayak's design.

Well it went trough various changes, very early on it was supposed to be kirigiri, at some point it ended up being junko, I guess, and for the demo they use hagakure because I think at some point he was the first victim too

Also, Sayaka and Leon were the first ones (I'm leaving "Junko" out on for reasons) to be killed, because they were focused on a lot during the development of the game, so the creators got kind of annoyed by them 😂
