It’s like every time a character appears they become more likeable and it’s horrible because you know at they’re mostly likely not going to make it to the end. So let’s appreciate these characters to the fullest and weep to the fullest when they go!

@@itzrainy_outside4450 Cancel and Pocket are being paired hard right now, so I'm just waiting for one of them to die while the other is sad about it. My guess is either one dies and one lives OR one dies in chapter two and the other dies in chapter three, kind of like Mondo and Taka, or Mahiru and Hiyoko.

@@commentsgalore1549 I feel like that would be more of a twin and rissi thing. Cancels and Pockets relationship gives me a Tenko and Himiko vibe, if the characters were both Himikos. If one of them were to die the other would feel despair and maybe pull a Himiko aka trying their best to live on and become a better person for the other

Also, as much as I love the people making this, screw them for making me love every single character. Unlike other games, there's not a single character here I wouldn't cry over.

Keep in mind that at the end of his SB event in this video he promises to stop the killing game even though no one was there to hear him. Since he had no reason to lie, it means he was being honest, which means he can't be the mastermind, unless he erased his own memories, which sounds possible but cheap. Also, the letter found in episode 4 confirms none of the participants is the mastermind, unless the letter lied.

@@11th-lemon They probably did lie to keep themselves from getting suspected from the other participants. Also one has to be the mastermind because there’s always someone behind it, if it was some outsider character that we haven’t even met before it wouldn’t be a very lame twist for the viewers.

I just noticed that the music and voices are finally around the same volume. This is a great improvement from before, where listening clearly to the music meant having the voices irritatingly loud. On a more important note, these interactions are helping to flesh out the cast while also giving a picture of their daily routines. This is a fantastic addition to the Shattered Hope character/world building, excellent work!

I'm a new DR fan and I'm already falling in love with these characters! Even the more "stereotypical" ones have so many layers and I love seeing them interact! You guys have written some fantastic and professional characters worthy of an official DR title! It makes me worried to see them start to kill each other...

Corza and Morai interaction: Awesome. Not much to comment on though. 9/10 Grisp and Rock interaction: Nice yugioh references. 9/10 Scarlet and Rox interaction: Much insight into the characters, overall very satisfied. 10/10 Yaxi and Cancel interaction: Cool. Again, not much to comment on here either. 8/10 Pocket and Rissi interaction: Very funny and engaging. Loli + comedic relief is a (not very) deadly duo. 11/10, best interaction here, sue me

17:08 I don't know if this reference is on purpose or not but the incinerator was one of the key parts of the very first murder in the very first game, as the killer (who was a baseball star like Pocket) threw his bloody clothes into the incinerator to hide the evidence; after killing a seemingly innocent girl (think: Rissi) who tried to murder him either way intentional or not I like the reference

Yes! I loved this! I love seeing characters be put into normal ass situations. This is how you know your character has depth, how to know if they’re written like a believable human being. You see how they socialize and put them in real life situations to see how they react. Especially Scarlet,Morateru and Grisp feel more realistic and actually like real people after this imo. Honestly they felt the weaker bunch in the cast again imo but seeing someone like morateru engage in a non plot related conversation shows the way she talks and her mannerisms and her interaction with corza was just ajshsksbk, amazing. Again I wish you all good health and thank you for putting in so much work!
