As you age songs like this become hauntingly beautiful. The emotions they can make you feel, the places they can transport you back in time to, they're remarkable and beautiful in their own way even if they're rooted in sorrow. How did we ever let this kind of music die?
It was taken but in a way newer music was made and let's be honest sex, drugs and rock-'n'-roll destroyed people, bands splitting apart, poor management.
Just ran across this video. Growing up in the 70's and 80's as a teenager with this music was the best. There will never be another time like that. The kids today really are missing out. And...Andy Timmons, what a guitarist then and especially now.
I grew up in the same years as you did, and they were some of the best years ever!! Not only was the music so much better than today’s music, but life was so much easier, and fun!!
This was my song for 20+ years without the girl I fell in love with in high school...and then God blessed me five years ago when we reunited...puts the biggest lump in my throat...
Anybody that has ever heard this great song has stopped and reflected on there life! It brings up a lot of emotions. Some good some bad. Everybody has been hurt! We hear things like when one door shuts another door opens? Well some of us are still waiting. My only words are never give up!
WAAAOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THE 80'S & 90´S WAS THE BEST 20 YEARS OF ALL MY LIFE AND I'M PROUD TO BE THERE IN THOSE TIMES, WHEN YOU CAN LOOK TO THE EYES OF YOUR FRIENDS AND TALK ABOUT THE GIRLS WE LOVE, LISTEN GOOD MUSIC, DRINK A LOT OF BEERS AND FEEL REALLY HAPPY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The music of the 80's were truly amazing. Songs that STILL kicks you in the feels. 1989 was 30 years ago and you can still feel this. Wish you had that one more chance.... one last kiss.... one more time to say goodbye
This always goes well in my playlist with : 1. Heaven - Warrant 2. I Remember You - Skid Row 3. High Enough - Damn Yankees 4. Times Are Changing - Roxy Blue 5. Crystal Eyes - L.A. Guns 6. If You Believe In Me - April Wine 7. If You Needed Somebody - Bad Company 8. Stranded - Heart 9. You're All I Need - White Lion
Motley crue you re all need poison i wont forget you great white save for your love tesla love song fire house and more power ballads saludos 🤗 desde Honduras
Man music back in the day was so fun. It seems like there is no fun in music anymore. I really do miss the 80's metal bands. I was 17 when this came out. Summer of '89 was an awesome summer. Lot of good cd's came out that summer.
I Have To Agree With Everybody Else On This, Great Song, Love The 80's Ballads, Best Days Of My Life, Wish We Could Go back And Relive It!, Awesome Era!, Thanks For The Upload.
I definitely agree with both of these comments. The '80's were a great time to be a teenager in high school. The music, the movies were entertaining....you felt good seeing and hearing them and people were still happier and nicer. Long live Ronnie and Nancy Reagan and the 1980's
The best part of the 80's for me was being a musician living on the beach..I was broke, close to being homeless lol but w-No stress, no obligations, lots of friends and Chica's..Simple killer times
Heavy Metal now days sounds like someone is constipated trying force themselves to take a massive shit while there wife is breaking dishes in the Kitchen.
Do you ever notice that the Asians have more love of Rock music than we do here in America? As seen in this video! If we had more people like them here in the states! Metal would still be the leader as it was in the 70's and 80's and some of the 90's! Rock fans are the best! You guys are awesome all over the world!
This song just popped up in my head this morning and had to hear it. Brings back so many memories of partying, going to concerts and being a teen with out a care in the world. Seems like a lifetime ago. I was So lucky to grow up in the big hair band era. Those are memories I’ll never forget.
The 80s rock man !!! every song has a meaning or a memory, all the respect to those rockers who lived through all the drink and drugs.... keep on rockn!!!!!!!!
Danger Danger are a band that have made me hugely happy ever since I got a CD of their first album for this past Christmas. I love all of their songs and I love the band Ted Poley came out of- Prophet. I'm from New Jersey and they were a local area band that made it and made it big and deserved to hold on and make it even further I believe that music is going to one day go full circle and that's the way it is. It will be that way because more and more young kids love our music. I got the royal treatment from a whole hockey team last Saturday just for saying what is my profession which is a singer. It was great, but quite amazing that 14 or 15 guys half my age were going "We love your kind of music!" Just believe. Bands will form and bands will grow and they will take over again. To Hell with negativity.
Lying all alone in bed Crazy thoughts running through my head Thinkin' about you Tryin' hard to let it go My head says yes but my heart says no I wish I never had to choose I've been walking down the same old road Tryin' hard to forget you But I just can't let you go I still think about you Do you think about me? I still think about you No matter where you go Just as sure as a cold wind blows I still think about you Do you think about me? Baby, I remember when You and me were best of friends We crossed our hearts and swore it lasts forever But I guess that lovin' me Was just a temporary thing And I wish to God that we were still together I hope you found what you were looking for It's been 3 years, a lot of tears Ain't got nothing but this song I still think about you Do you think about me? I still think about you No matter where you go Just as sure as a cold wind blows I still think about you Do you think about me? When you're all alone When you need a friend I guess it doesn't matter 'Cause what we had we'll never have again Lyin' all alone in bed Crazy thoughts running through my head Thinkin' about you I still think about you Do you think about me? I still think about you No matter where you go Just as sure as a cold wind blows I still think about you Ohh... I still think about you Do you think about me? I still think about you Yeah... No matter where you go Just as sure as a cold wind blows I still think about you Do you think about me...?
Wow wow! This is hidden high quality 1980s GOLD. It’s like opening a 30 year old bottle of wine, I’ve never heard this song before. The singer is great 😍 that’s some major charisma and world class vocals. 1991 it is, must be the absolute last year of 80s style glam-power rock.
The 80's were amazing Christopher! I was lucky to be as old as I was in the 80's. In my teens. Great music, great times! House parties. Police showing up, everybody scattering! It's different now. Andy Timmons is a monster guitar player! Wow!
I listened to this like 20 times already this week I love this song ❤️😘 I could hit repeat but I don't have to just play it over and over it never gets old to me
It was good to know that you still thought about me after 38 years. I'm glad we had a opportunity this past year to had caught up with each other on the phone and reflected back on our youth and how our lives went onto the different roads we went. I'll remember you always Angie...
beautiful guitar solo you don't get good music or power ballads like this anymore what has happened to the music industry nowadays it's like where did all these good bands and musicians go? I think that if people would take a step back in history they would find that you actually had talented musicians that could play
I sure do miss the 70s and 80s. The music today is not even the same. Sometimes I wish I could find a time machine and go back in time. Life was much easier and everyone enjoyed life! Is this your favorite song?

Can't find a name for this song, nothing seems to fit.. I wish so much i was as old as some of you dude in here, so i too could have heard more to them.. Well All my love to this song! and to you who let it in on youtube!! Greatest song ever!!! HAIR METAL !!!!
+justin hartzer Amen brother...that's what this song is all about. So many bad ones we fight to the death for but that one.....GRRRRR! Another good song is "Dark and Stormy" by Orion the Hunter. Check it out if you don't know it already. Peace!
@ justin hartzer … ya I wish I could build a time machine and go back and never come back, I had the love of my life , he was my world, my everything. he showed me what true love feels like, the first time we were together I felt feelings I didn't think were possible to feel..we were together for 23 yrs we had a son together having him just completed us..then one day he is gone , I found out he married a girl he only knew for 1 yr..they also had a son together , since we had a child together we had to communicate..he calls me 1 day crying , he proceeds to tell me that she left him and left him with a 3 week old baby, he wanted me back but I couldn't what he did to me destroyed me , I did help him with the baby as much as I could afterall its not the childs fault, so we stayed in touch as the years went by , I wanted him back so bad but I was scared..but stupid me last yr in the summer we went for a bike ride on his knew sport bike, which he knows I loved riding on the back of the bike, and we started spending more time together, and our son and the son he had with the other woman are only a yr apart and they hang out a lot, so thing are going good..and ya he tells me his ex was calling blah blah blah...and he needed time to think..so hes with her,,enough said..i do miss him and this is 1 of our songs..take care
@@matthewwiechert103 Hi ya life can stink sometimes..but there is something to be said about 2 people who find their way back to each other time and time again..no matter the situation they end up in..or how far apart they may become they will come back to each other time and time again... we may take detours..but we are never lost..when 2 hearts are meant to be together...fate will bring them together... Mark and i are now together...we are taking things slow.. but even though we have been apart for so long ..the passion the feelings the love we have for each other is there like it never left...cause it didn't...I will always love Mark with all my heart that has known no other love.. and his love or me..is the only love i have ever known...Take Care Matthew
Awh, this song reminds me of long car rides with my daddy and brother, and that makes me happy. Then again, it reminds me of my ex, 'my heart says yes but my head says no', so it's sort of one of those songs that just cause so many incredibly emotions at once.
"Honestly" is one of my all time favorites! Good to see that someone hasn't forgotten STRYPER! People tend to write them off because they're a Christian metal band.
Back when this first came out, we were at a party and everybody was talking about how the singer from Danger Danger was there. I lived in a Small, South Texas town. There was no way it was him. We get to the party and it's this long haired dude from the next town over posing as him. The ppl st the party didnt know because they only listened to country and tejano. They were just repeating what he told them. My friends and I kinda knew the guy so we played along. To this day, people from my home town post shit on Facebook about how they partied with a rockstar.
I'm a C.C. fan but Andy is light years ahead of him when it comes to guitar.. And at this time this is the kinda stuff bands had to write for the label. it was like a 2 ballad requirement for each album.. But this is still a really good ballad.. brings back great memories.
