My dad was a big music fan....all sorts of music. For all of us kids in the 80's that hung out at our house....he hooked the stereo up thru the TV.....our first homemade surround sound....so us kids could jam out while watching MTV. THANKS DAD for turning our basement into a teenage haven so we could hang out safely and enjoy being a kid!!! God Bless the 80's!!!!
im only 25 but this is all you will hear me listening to. Ratt, deff, great white, skid, acdc, danger, whitesnake, twisted sister, crue... I thank God EVERYDAY my dad brought me up in an 80s way of life
wooo '89 was the shit, I saw danger danger open up for dangerous toys live in Fla, in a rat club ... oh & i sawem all coming off the tour bus and there was XYZ group too... after the gig...tohe bands pulled all the tittie dancers in the audience onto the bus,...lol.. it was so good then
My teen years was 70s and it had the best music. I can remember what we call "classic" it being released and hitting the air waves. Nothing like it. @@sherilewis4345
Funny Story....These guys came to Martinsburg WV back in the early 90's when they were all over MTV. I was in a local band from Baltimore called Temper Temper....Our booking agent got us the gig opening for Danger Danger because Danger Danger and Temper Temper looked cool on the promo flyers for the show....Great buncha guys, treated us very cool!
As an 80s kid, i miss the hell out of it. Danger danger was one of the best glam bands around back then. So under rated and everytime i listen its a trip to the past.
I thought that thirty years ago when I used to PAR-TAY, now my son playing shite in his bedroom and I think I'm not gonna admit it but I kinda like that one, sing it to myself over and again, turns out Ted Poley is singing on Sonic - Escape from the City.
@@jjrj8568 Well, although the first album sounds a bit like Bon Jovi, the second album includes songs like "Puppet Show" which didn't sound at all like BJ. They 90s stuff with Paul Laine as singer is totally different (you should try The Return Of Great Gildersleeves)
@@dekatheredpanda Kurt went out a champ grunge is still loved by millions still when I heard the song they released after he died I realized Nirvana would have sucked if they continued
Huge 80's fan,am now 65. They absolutely make me feel young again in all the right places!!!!LOL GOOD ROCK DOESN'T HAVE AN AGE AND WILL NEVER DIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
They have more than 1 song? This is ridiculous IMO, but the worst metal tune is better than the best Britney Spears tune, which America was about to be bludgeoned to death with within a few short years. Fucking mickey mouse club.
I was listening to Motley Crue and Ratt in the early to mid 80s but then I switched to Slayer, Testament and Exodus towards the end of the 80s. I'd gladly welcome back the hair bands compared to the crap that's out there today...the 80s ruled!!!
Me too I gravitated towards Testament and exodus and Megadeth and I actually saw Testament live in Austin and Chuck Billy autographed my bare chest but I have since lost the cell phone picture of it... that night I could honestly say that "I've been signed Chuck Billy" LOL
At the height of the grunge scene in the early 90s when everyone in my highschool band was trying to look like a dirty thrift shop flannel wearing seattle lumberjack with a worn out fender strat, I played one of those holoflash kramers and I stuck out like a sore thumb lol I bought used for $100, still have it still love it. 80s metal forever!
The height was 94-95. People older like me can tell you straight up 80s rock ruled 90-93. Aerosmith, Van Halen, Def Leppard, Bon Jovi, Ozzie, Gun n Roses
Nah. The only jewel is Andy Timmons, he's guitar playing is the only thing bearable in this cheese fest. This band is just saturated, water down glam pop. Of course this is my opinion, but Danger Danger just doesn't cut it, maybe it's the singer?
The only reason I listen to this band and hair metal in general is because of the guitar parts. Killer riffs, solos, tone etc. Andy Timmons is fucking amazing
Brian Robinson lmao yeah I heard the guitar parts on this album were split between Bruno and Timmons. Anyways Timmons always killed it on the live versions which is what got me hooked on the stuff
Same here. As a teen I was big into the genre mostly for guitar, but even at 17 I considered the image and songs by many of these bands ridiculous and silly. But still 80s pop metal is on a much higher level than today’s radio pop.
I heard this song on the radio yesterday. I never even heard of this band. So underrated. How did I go through life and manage to never hear this up to now?
You actually heard a station that played this in 2022?!? Wow😮.... there's hope yet, best news I've heard about radio and 80's-early 90's bands like these great guys👍🎸
@@leticiabromley6013 Yeah the first time I heard this song was on a station called "Eagle 107.5" I love that station. "When we were kids we were told we could be anyone we wanted to be. Now days that is known as identity theft." - Dude from Eagle 107.5
Esse disco de estreia do Danger Danger é puro ouro. Todas as dez faixas são sensacionais. Naughty Naughty e logo em seguida já vem Under The Gun. Isso me remete muito, mas muito mesmo a um passeio noturno por São Paulo idealizando na minha mente a década de 80!!!
SO TRUE!! If I have to have one beef against hair metal, it's this: they generally underuse the bass. There's a whole territory in the low end they often occupied very little... But not this song, definitely! Kicks even more butt!! :-)
I agree, hair metal rocks.Im 51 and still have long hair that I started growing in 1983. Hair Metal was and always will be forever. DANGER, DANGER ROCKS!!!!!!
@@jeffrojacobs8094 how can you say Andy Timmons is a poser? lol listen to them live in japan they easily out performed 98% of the hair bands at the time
OMG... I haven't heard this song in years. My first wife bought the single cassette of this song in the late 80s. I think she blew the speakers out of our Chevy Spectrum with it.
Fabulous song!!! Fantastic Hot band!! Favorite 80's song!! Ted Poley is a great singer.... got some pipes and can blow you away!!! Love all the metal hair bands!! Sooo sexy!! 😘😘😘😘😘. Best time of my life!!! Long live the 80's!!! 🎸🎸🎸🎶🎵📻 🎸🎸🎸
Why is she dancing with Freddy Krueger? Doesn't she know that never ends well? I loved this song and video. Singer's voice was perfect and he had a Sebastin Bach quality about him. Very 1989.
Ohoooo, great find! Nice sound, voice, rhytm, drums and guitars. I like this ...maybe glam hard rock. A little bit heavy rock. What a great solooo! First time hearing Danger Danger, but love it!
