12:07 because droplet halves the current atk of the monster at the same time it negates them. Since apo's atk at that time was 1.6k, it reduced it to 800 after the turn ends, it goes to 0 because its effect to turn its atk to 1.6k is a continuous effect, since u droplet it, it forgets the ammount of mats used for its summon
It’s because the condition to remove an Appollousa counter is to also reduce her attack. So if she can’t drop 800 attack the counter means nothing lol.
Streaming is honestly Hiru's perfect medium. He's very creative with his deck building and he's made so many decks over the years that I would love to see being played. I didn't expect him to also be such a funny and entertaining streamer as well.
@@MegaUltimateMaster Not his real name (most likely), it comes from the name of his second most popular channel. Calling him “The Duel Logs” was too clunky.
Soul Crossing *should* be spell speed 4. Ra Egg has built in tributing, and I _think_ Soul Crossing is meant to mimic its effect for the other god cards. It being negateable _and_ having harsh drawbacks when you do use it(when requiring two pretty specific cards that are hard to search out is drawback enough) is the type of overtuning that keeps the Egyptian Gods as gimmick decks. When they are one of the few decks I'd actually accept being a bit busted. Like, where is the one non-archtype effect restriction for Drytrons when they recycle their ritual card five times per turn?
Sadly that tends to be the case for Yugioh’s meta decks, usually it’s not that they are particularly good (in terms of the effects being amazing - often the effects are similar/the same as non meta ones) and more they just don’t have the restrictions that non meta decks have
@@MattAnd You joke about recycling Meteonis Drytron 5 times, but ive actually done it using Cyber Angel Idaten(the one no one uses because benten is infinitely better).
12:07 Droplet halves attack, then negates, and because of the order that it's done, it "stamps" that value onto the monster for that turn. There's actually a funny interaction I've had with King of the Skull Servant where someone gave up after making my King go from 8k to 4k and didn't have a follow up because they thought the attack would be 0.
11:45 wouldn't it have been lethal if you tributed the Slifer and Ecclesia instead of the Ojama? Maximus would be 3k, then you attack into the I:P for lethal.
Not to brag but I have a better version of that danger dark world that ends with VFD, Full negate Apollousa, Naturia Exterio, Baronne, IP Masq and a Snow on the GY as an end board field
It's Danger, Dark world FTK I ran into this once, pretty much it uses the two engines to create massive field presence to create a field full of omninegates as well as some big links primarily bringing out beast and Appolusa among others. The funny thing about the deck is that it requires massive combos that practically wastes your entire deck to do but is weirdly effective at what it does
@@Mernom more often than not it's a gimmicky control ftk where the character makes so many negates that most decks can't even do a single thing literally on the first turn. But it's technically more control oriented then a true ftk, like most. Like you would have to have multiple board wipes and probably a forbidden droplet just to break it. It's that stupid
Consider VW Wicked Avatar for a moment, VWicked Avatar if you will. You do not waste your normal summon and nothing about the deck locks you out of summoning Wicked Avatar, nor does it prevent you from making your normal VW plays
Loved the first season of Chaos Draft! I remember pleading with Hardleg to ban Magical Scientist, and he was just too worried about Divine Serpent of Geh.
Dueled against a lair of darkness deck with my thunder dragons/prank kids and let me tell you he was absolutely destroying me at first but he ran out of resources. Looked like a fun deck though
Wait, THEY ACTUALLY *FIXED* SOUL CROSSING'S EFFECT?!? _WHEN?!?!?_ I stopped using my God deck months ago and Konami never said shit about fixing the card in any of the issue updates/notifications. (For those who don't know, 14:13 - this is the way it's supposed to work, you activate an effect on a given turn after tributing 1 or more of your opponent's monsters, but are locked out of activating anything other than God effects, with the same thing happening during the turn it was activated. The way it _ACTUALLY_ worked previously was that you could only activate 1 non-God effect *PERIOD* for the next two turns.)
playing Wicked Avatar at the moment. im being bullied on repeat lol. even if i get it out it doesnt stay long since its only immune to effects if they are benevolent enough to let me keep Bound of the mount creator
I got so confused when I heard duellogs call out a sub that was using my name around 1:25 except had "221" on the end. I was like "yay he called me out" then realised I haven't subbed 😂😅
12:08 he droppleted Appaloosa, that's why it has it's attack halved. And since Appaloosa's attack is effect related, when resets the dropplets effect it looses it's attack points.
This is danger dark world, a very chaotic variety in wich is solely built around using cards like Armageddon knight into beginning of the end to banish cyberstein in order to cheat it back out with leviair of dugares. Really fun to play
Just to let you know U are a RU-vidr Only way I watch is RU-vid It's not a bad thing People are watching and spending time your profile I think your Kool 😃 Like watching sometimes
I like the self deprecation. 5th best custom card reviewer and all that. Plus idk charismatic implies different qualities that go beyond just being a competent speaker and having a nice voice. I think well spoken is the way I would describe you. Not saying you lack charisma thats just what I think is more accurate.
Holy crap was it the opponents turn for 7+ minutes there? So I don't really play Yu Gi Oh, I watch Duel Logs out of a moderate interest in the game and funny Top 10s. Is this standard? Do games typically have you sitting for minutes on end just watching the opponent climb?
It can depend on the deck they are playing. Some decks can go off for 10+ minutes on master duel between effects and animations lol. Others set 3 cards and then pass
That being said if this was irl, we'd be speedrunning 20 questions of "can I negate/ what that do" edition and end a best of 3 in like 5 minutes sometimes. Guys shuffle through their deck like bank machines churn out money. It's a spectacle to watch because it's the exact opposite of master duel.
sorry but that is what modern yugioh plays like. also master duel aka the self solitaire game where the opponent combos too long you can do whole house chores and come back it isnt your turn yet. duel links better
I can't believe those were JUST three turns, his first turn alone went on for like half an hour, I really don't understand how master duels are funnier than speed duels
I actually use a similar deck like this. I'd use the danger + dark world engine to find cyber stein and either the psychic equip or field spell, and use the summoned danger monsters for reprodocus. My end board would be appollousa, exterio, dingirsu, herald of arc light, and last warrior
This player wasted what amounts to a church sermon just to surrender. When you take that long for a turn, you eventually lose sight as to what you are doing. 😕 I like this particular deck you have, by the way. 🙂
I think the point is: it should've gone to 0 immediately since their effect to gain atk was negated, or some other ruling with atk modifiers and monsters that gain atk from their own effects
