The court should be seen as a temple of Justice for ordinary citizens to have faith that justice will be done by judges being impartial to the ruling government.

Temples are not just the pooja sthal. Temple for common people is a place of hope and ultimate justice, where all are equal, get solace, and gives faith in the goodness of humanity. So, respected CJI Sir., its quite correct to consider Courts as temples. Not a narrow minded thought. Nor just a Hindu concept because evey religion has its own temples. People come to the courts with hope to get justice and solace.

Court is not a temple but may be church ,masjid, guddwara etc.

Definitely Chandra chor is not thought as deity of the temple of Justice , but Abhijit Ganguli , Amrita Sinha , Biswajit Bose , Rajshekhar Mantha and like others are definitely considered as deities by the suffering people of Bengal !

Courts are certainly temples and judges are doing the role of gods ...it's because of the role assigned to them granting the prayer strictly in accordance with law ....as a lawyer he might have been Valmiki before enlightenment...we should not look at the person or individual becoming judge....when CJI delivered EC bonds judgement every citizen of india felt he was discharging the role of Dharma devta ...so I think Honble CJI may consider this view point ...after all you can see god in those people who do selfless service to poor needy ailing etc Venkatasivakumar

So, when our supreme court judge Mr.Chrandrachud said something like Judges should not act like Gods and be judgemental when dealing the cases, which type of infallible God's was he refering?

No one sees couts as temple. People know ir is tge number one currupt office in India; First of all judgesust be appointed and promoted only on merrit basis only; the court wieking days must be more than that of any other govt. Offices; all civil cases must be finslised with in a stipulated time pan by cutting short the adjourments. Then the court will be like temples. Ad on date no good people want to step police station and court.

If judges are servants of people , why are they favouring BJP, RSS and Modi in most of the judgements. Had court ordered a JPC probe on Rafeal Scam, Modi would have been in jail today
