Onii Chan well that cuz it is one. There more you look up dinosaurs, the more respect I have for all kinds of birds. This is the best living dinosaur we have on earth. It is a theropod, so yeah. Even chickens are dinosaurs that just evolved for the times. They aren't "closely " related, they ARE dinosaurs.

But is the Cassowary a bird? I don't think so. I think it is directly descended from Oviraptors and evolved in parallel with birds. I also think the same of the Emu.

That's not true, Cassowaries are in one of the 2 living clade of birds, Palaeognathae (ratites), which split off from the clade Neognathae (most birds belong to this clade) during the late cretacious. But that doesn't make them any less of Dinosaurs.

Cassowaries didn't have any flying ancestors and are not birds. The ratites group is a lie. They have as much DNA in common with paleognath (‘old-jaw') birds as each other. The lack a keel bone, Syrinx(bird voice box), have vestigial arms rather than wings, have the same skin pigments as dinosaurs, and the males incubate the nests like other oviraptors. They also teach their offspring like theropods and mammals. They even retain the oviraptor crest. They are not birds and there is no scientific evidence proving me wrong.

Firstly, Ratites DO definitely have wings rather than vestigial arms, the structure of their wings is exactly that of a bird. If they had evolved from Oviraptors as you say their fingers would have never fused to form a wing if they had remained flightless through the entirety of their evolution. Now, you said that they have the same "skin pigment" as Dinosaurs, yet we don't know the skin pigment of most extinct dinosaurs. Another thing is that modern birds are Dinosaurs. When you say they "teach their offspring like Theropods and mammals" remember that all birds are classified as Theropods so that argument doesn't really make any sense. Also, all Ratites (including Cassowaries) have the beaks of birds, which are VERY distinct and are definitely very different from an the "beak" of an Oviraptor. If you were to say that their beak evolved from oviraptor-like in structure to bird-like in structure, that would mean you are saying that the bird beak structure evolved independently multiple times, which is a very radical belief to have. All of this is something I haven't seen argued by even the most fringe scientists.

Nature can't recover from humans continuously destroying precious habitats that are not only home to many endangered species but are also beneficial for human beings(air quality, being of the most importance) so ,if there is no protection for some of these areas like wetlands(swamps , marshes , streams , creeks, riverbeds etc. ), nature cannot recover as quickly and cannot sustain species that have dwindled down so low that they cannot reproduce or will not reproduce because of the lack of habitat. THAT'S JUST HOW NATURE IS !!!
