The journey to see Angel Falls in Venezuela is a tough and dangerous one. A 2 - 4 hour canoe ride through the river with very low water levels is your first challenge. Then you must hike through the jungle to witness the highest and tallest waterfall in the world which is Angel falls. The night caught us on the hike back to camp through a jungle filled with venomous snakes and many other critters.

Watching these vlogs has always felt so surreal to me. As a 26 year old American growing up in Wisconsin my whole life, I find it very humbling getting to see such incredible places like this knowing I very well may never get to see them for myself. I really can't express how much these videos mean to someone like me. After finding this channel from the main food vlog channel, I cannot help but love this channel all the same. Almost feels like I'm right there with you trekking through the jungle and meeting such incredible people along the way. Please keep doing what you do, much love

My friend never say never 🙂👍 A personal anecdote: As I kid I used to watch Hawai 5-0 and use to think I would never be able to get there. A place as far away as one can possible imagine, it was like going to the moon. I remembered those thoughs as one day I was looking at the lights of Honolulu through the airplane window approaching the airport 🤠👍

Learned something new when you mentioned how the indigenous won't look you in the eye when responding to you because it's considered rude in their culture. Classic example of how important it is for us to learn about other cultures before judging people based on what we're used to. What a cool video and experience. Thanks again Volpe!

Yea definitely because I was raised that it is very rude to not look someone in their eyes when they are speaking to you. That’s like some old school peasant and king style of respect where a peasant would never look at someone of stature when speaking to them because the mindset is that they weren’t worthy.

Hello, I am indigenous of Canada as we call our communities "First Nations" it is true that we don't look in the eyes of outsiders that talk to us, it's not that we're shy or anything but it's in our culture too even as far as Venezuela.. plus when he mentioned about white hairs again we are like that too up here in our communities .. thank you

Dude, this is probably one of the more fascinating vlogs you made. As an American Hispanic I, unfortunately, have never looked into traveling in Latin America. Mom is Dominican and dad Is Nicaraguan. 2 Vastly different people, and yet I never looked into traveling around latin america. Been around the world, just never been interested in those places......boy am I missing out. Your vlogs have got me wanting to go there so bad. It's a very good inspiration.

Great to hear, when I started travelling and the fact that I grew up in Miami around every latin culture I thought I knew it all and wanted to travel far away in Asia, Russia, and others places but having visited Mexico last year and now Venezuela I realized I know nothing about the people I grew up around and can't wait to visit all these countries and show everyone how things really are.

El parque nacional Canaima debería ser la 8 va maravilla del mundo. aunque las 7 maravillas son obra del hombre no? El parque nacional Canaima es obra absoluta de Dios. In my bucket list: Canaima National Park, including Angel Falls, Kavac, Mount Roraima, Canaima Lagoon, Sapo Falls, Hacha Falls, Golondrinas Falls, Ukaima Falls, and further south into Amazonas State, the great Autana Tepuy.

Yeh man that was very cool. That view of the Angel Falls was just spectacular and getting behind the other falls awesome, did that a lot growing up in the Pacific and in Oz, great feeling and so refreshing. Incluso Steven Seagal está viviendo en Canaima. hay muchas personas que una vez conocen Canaima, Roraima, kukenak y las distintas comunidades pemonas, deciden más nunca salir de ahí. Yo casi fui una. Ver este vídeo es muy emocionante para mí, recuerdo mis días en la sabana, los mejores días de mi vida. Y sin duda volveré para llevar a mi familia y amigos que no conocen ese paraíso en el estado Bolívar. Ojalá hayas subido al Roraima y caminado sobre el valle de los cristales, bañarte en los jacuzzi naturales, subir al mirador maverik.. saludos y muchas gracias por compartir esto
