That is true. Playing chess on high level is very hard and energy consuming. Brain takes too much energy, that's why human thinking is designed in a way to think less. It's naturally a bad time for our brain to work hard
Oh jeez! What computer moves look like to him is what his moves look like to me basically and that's an undeserved compliment to myself very likely. He is my favrite player, though, so I've got that going for me.
If you play chess for a while your head may start hurting. It can physically drain you. Also RIP Kazuki Takahashi (creator of YuGiOh who has recently died).
Hey Danya, I noticed that you only have time stamps for the first and last games. If you want, here are the ones for the rest of the games :) 01:45 Game 1 07:53 Game 2 14:00 Game 3 18:55 Game 4 24:30 Game 5 29:17 Game 6 33:44 Game 7 38:54 Game 8 45:23 Game 9 51:47 Game 10
Amazing how dina is able to barely pay attention to the board and still explain tactics in the position to the chat when they ask just at a glance - really shows how strong she is
She's good but I saw her get crushed today at the Paris Championship making amateur blunders. Her current FIDE rating is below 2300 which is about NM or FM level.
@@MrSupernova111 which translates to about 2700 blitz rating online! That's still ridiculous, giving that my blitz ratings online is only 2200. She will adopt me10 times over!
@@experiment0003 . Not necessarily. My online rating is about the same as yours and I regularly crush CMs, NMs, occasionally FMs. Many of those 2600+ NMs/FMs play for tricks in fast time controls and their online ratings are meaningless for OTB purposes.

Both of you did an incredibly during the candidates. I feel like I’ve been learning a ton from your thoroughly instructive content and expert analysis during the candidates. Hess and Danny were insightful and hilarious as well. Everyone bravo and thank you!
@@compressedzipfolder7089 no, they played this match and then later in the stream Alireza accepted the challenge www.twitch.tv/videos/1517849384 Alireza played some bullet games before that and I think Magnus referred to that
Hey danya is there any chance you could make an accelerated dragon opening lab video. Either that or a queens gambit response opening lab video would be very very helpful and appreciated. Btw love your content and keep up the great work
For the White side of the Accelerated Dragon, you can play the Alapin Sicilian(2.c3) which has the idea of preparing the d4 pawn push, or the Rossolimo(3.Bb5) with the idea of doubling Black’s pawns, to prevent Black from playing the Accelerated Dragon at all. You can also play the Maroczy Bind(5.c4) to quickly get a position where you can easily develop your pieces without worrying about falling into any traps. For the Black side, Daniel’s lesson with Charlie where he went over openings for pogchamps 3, as well as his speedrun videos are a great resource for learning to play the Accelerated. Black has many responses to the Queen’s Gambit. The Queen’s Gambit Accepted(2...dxc4) is completely playable for both sides. Black’s plan will be to develop the Bishop to either f5 or g4 and then play e6 and c5 to dismantle White’s center. The Queen’s Gambit Declined(2...e6) has the basic idea of meeting 3.cxd5 with 3...exd5 in order for Black to maintain their center. The Tarrasch Variation of the QGD(3.Nc3 c5) is considered one of the easiest responses to play and learn, and it is generally the one recommended to beginners. The Slav Defense(2...c6) has the idea of meeting 3.cxd5 with 3...cxd5, and it is considered to be more aggressive due to the Bishop on c8 being able to develop more easily. This is considered more difficult to play than the QGD. The semi-Slav combines c6 and e6 and is considered to be one of if not the most difficult response to play against the Queen’s Gambit. Some of Black’s more dubious responses are the Albin Countergambit(2...e5), the Chigorin Defense(2...Nc6), the Marshall Defense(2...Nf6), and the Baltic Defense(2...Bf5). You can also avoid having to play against the Queen’s Gambit at all by playing the Dutch Defense(1...f5), the Nimzo-Indian(1. d4 Nf6 2. c4 e6 3. Nc3 Bb4), or any of the various Indian defenses(variations resulting from 1.d4 Nf6 such as the King’s Indian, Queen’s Indian, Bogo Indian, etc.). However, none of these responses are generally recommended for beginners. I obviously didn’t state all the ideas for all the openings, but I hope this helped you enough that you’ll be able to dig around on your own.
Danya is Rebecca Harris??? Lmao I never knew, just heard Jerry say that name from time to time and he never said it was Danya. I wonder if he even knows that lol. And now that explains why “Rebecca Harris” nearly dominates all of the Lichess events.
Hey Danya, FYI there is a way to have the twitch chat as subtitles on the youtube video. I am not sure how to achieve it, but, I have seen some other channels do it so there must be some plugin that makes it easy.
