I got the 16” 308 variant. Scooped it on sale for $2100 with shipping and fees. Plan on throwing a surefire muzzle brake and using their 762 RC2. Once they release the folding hinge for the stock, should be a small precise hammer. Can’t wait!
Does the suppressor stay on your rifle? I get awful POI shift when I put my Omega36M on and off and go for groups at 300yds with my 16inch DDM4V7LW. About 1 inch shift down at 100yds.
I’ve been looking at getting one of these and having a hard time deciding between the 18in varmint barrel and the 24in HPALMA barrel. Will also be using a suppressor. What experience did you have with the 18in any thing negative? What made you decide on the 18in.?
I always run suppressors on my bolt guns, therefore I generally prefer an 18" barrel. The longer barrel will gain you velocity. But... I had no issues shooting MOA out to 800 yards even with decent wind. I thought the 18" was a perfect size, especially since the rifle is already a beefy boy.
