As a kid in the 80s , we weren't to concerned about story continuity or editing errors . It was just about sitting and watching tv instead of doing boring homework.

Someone actually had to tell some Hanna-Barbera higher-up that they wanted to air a Super Friends episode where Toyman somehow creates a planet in a black hole, the entire freaking Earth turns invisible, and some scantily clad space lesbians damn near turn the the heroes to stone

I always watched superfriends and never noticed Black lightning as much.

And this is why the modern Justice League cartoon was created. The creators were all kids who used to watch this show and were all “WTF?”

Bizzare moments in the show....wasn't earth miniaturised....why are the Superfriend that sayed on earth still the same size as the ones in space? How did they even manage to spacetravel and be on planets if they are again....incredibly tiny?

Talking in space? Cartoon/movie logic. I guess Superfriends all have the power to talk in space. Ever notice in space movies and TV series, you hear the sounds of space battles? That's because that's what the audience expects. If they're superheroes, they expect them to keep talking even in space. They won't sit by and watch a silent film (other than the sounds within the spaceship). Besides, who wants to hide Wonder Woman's figure under a spacesuit? Cue the fishbowl of space breathing!

The animators and writers just hated kids.

It's about a NASA satellite that falls into the Death Valley and spreads radiation causing monstrous genetic changes in the region's animals, making them gigantic. Some super-friends are affected and the problem becomes even greater.
