Why the colts Should NOT Pay Jonathan Taylor: ...he's injured from a surgery that should've been recovered from months ago. He's not healthy. You don't hand out new contracts to unhealthy players.

That is a big part that people are missing. He had surgery in January, which typically has a recovery time of 5-6 weeks. We are more than 6 months out. Either 1) everyone is lying about the ankle being an issue and he is fine, 2) the surgery didn't go as planned/ he is still hurt, or 3) he has a new injury to his ankle (and it's not related to the surgery). I'd say option 1 is the least likely since both sides are saying its an ankle injury, and he has yet to pass a physical.

Is he really hurt? If on the pup list he can’t go to training camp and can’t get fined. Although I agree Taylor can’t seem to stay healthy.

I can see why the colts don't want to pay him. It's because every time we pay someone, they get injured or their play declines(Nelson, Leonard, moore,Smith for examples).
