I saw Daniel play in Victoria BC maybe 15 years ago, and he Floored us. He played a sweet composition on the pedal, and it brought tears to my eyes. I turned and looked around, and there was not a dry eye in the house.

Enjoyed a whole evening of this great man and his music . Started out with a documentary from way back in 1987 and now this amazing performance of Daniel with his insanely great band. What he has done for music is beyond words. Thanks for this video ,all of you.

I met Daniel in Tennessee one time in the middle of the summer and it was one of the humid/hottest days of the year and he was wearing that same outfit...it bothers me to this day.

26:43 Django Reinhardt (one of my father's idols) was a Belgium born French, he was also a "manouche" which are not exactly the same as the spanish "gipsies", so he was definitely, definitely not spanish.

@@gillesbourgeois5348 Il dit "he's a very good spanish guitar player".. je pense qu'il parle de Django mais de toute façon ni Djando ni Willy ne sont espagnol, et ni l'un ni l'autre ne jouent de guitare espagnole (folk pour Willy, manouche pour Django). Pas de flamenco non plus mais là je ne vois pas le rapport (tu trouveras Django au rayon Jazz). Evidemment "spanish" ce n'est pas une insulte, et ce n'est pas grave non plus.. c'est juste inexact.

Turning up his amps really. Doesn’t like using effects. He does use a Korg SDD-3000 for delay, and i think that has a boosted output, hitting the amps harder.
