+TwilightPrince64 Agree. I was reluctant since the review of it isn't what you would say as good, but then again it's James-fucking-McAvoy and Daniel-freaking-Radcliffe! So I watched it. I'm not a fan of the ending, and have some issues with the characters (won't say which one but at least it's not Igor nor Victor), but I still enjoyed it. And that's what matters, right? Because I watch a movie for the fun of it, and I do have fun watching it, so all is good! :D
+TwilightPrince64 the reviews are from all the butthurt people who read the book and wanted it to be the same. As much as I'd like to see a "real" Frankenstein movie, this one definitely did not disappoint. I loved it :)
I agree. This movie was simply amazing to me. It had depth and strong meaningful message, great characters and actors. I went in like everyone else expecting to be disappointed and it turns out it's now one of my favorite films. Their chemistry was out of this world and I hope to see a lot more of McAvoy and Radcliffe working together, if not on Victor Frankenstein 2 then at least see them working on something else together. This movie was just awesome. No, it's not identical to the book, but that doesn't mean it wasn't great in it's own right.
I just watched this film! It's the most funniest, most entertaining and most dramatic Frankenstein movie ever. This is also the first ever Frankenstein film I've watch so yeah, Victor Frankenstein is so far the best Frankenstein 2016 movie I've seen( no offence to the other ones though). Moreover, I was told the reviews for this film, which then I thought of not watching it because of the reviews saying it sucks, however, I thought wrong and focused too much on other people's opinions that I forgot mine. For me this 2016 film is FANTASTIC! Great job from my favourite male actors: Daniel Radcliffe and James McAvoy! I praise this movie as a whole!
James's Frankenstein is much more like the Cushing-Frankenstein than the Clive-Frankenstein... imho... and Peter Cushing was by far better, even my favourite, than Colin Clive... also imho... but James, handsdown, kicked Peter off the throne for me.
