Daniel Radcliffe PSA for The Trevor Project 

Well if Harry Potter tells you it will be ok, then you know everything's going to be fine.

"Be proud of who you are." That brought tears to my eyes. I'm so glad that there's so many who's willing to be in this project!

I think this is amazing. This made me want to cry more because of his character, Harry Potter, who could have chose to die when everything around him fell to pieces. Dan, you are the best. And I can't even think of any other words.

I think the Trevor Project is phenomenal!!! Please know it does get BETTER. You are not alone, just reach out and there are people who will give you the support you need. Everyone is valuable to the world:)

You're right, he didn't blink once!! The Trevor Project is great. They must succeed in helping young people. No person should kill him/herself or be killed for who they are.

When people are 'famous' this is one aspect of their 'fame' which can work for the benfit of others.So it's great to see Radcliffe lend his 'fame' to such a worthy cause.

If I hadn't spent a good portion of my life reading H/D slash, I would be able to watch this without a sly grin. I'm glad there are so many people supporting this project.

Trevor was the name of a short film that the people who made the helpline made before they had this kind of helpline. when they made the movie and it was about to air on HBO they looked for helplines for LGBT people that they could advertise and found that there were none so they formed their own and so now they have this for people

I REALLY admire him for doing this. He has had a lot of ridicule and rumors about him being gay, even through deny such alligations. Doing this PSA DEFINITLY wouldnt have helped deny such rumors, but even under the media spot light and stupid rumors he still did whats right. ♥

@nymphXtonks i know :) the trevor project got my role-model to do a video aswell - and it really does make a difference... nice to know that we're not alone, and the people who we grow up looking up too really do care :) we shouldnt be ashamed of who we are.

Daniel suffers from Dyspraxia. Some of the medications (such as dexedrine) cause the person taking them to blink significantly less. It's no big deal, people.

this is actually portrayed in a film called 'almost normal' and it does show theres no difference between gay and straight becuase either way people will attack you for not following a social norm, whether this is gay or not. if they ganna do it, they just ganna do it

I'm a junior at a completely homophobic school (we're talking a Baptist school that hates anyone), but when I go to (my secular) college, it's a completely different environment. I feel welcome and accepted; I'm even going to join a gay group there. My point is: If you feel your friends and society hates you, you shouldn't be around them anyway. Look to a brighter future, because you have one :)
