Everyone involved in F1 loves racing, but Zak feels more like if a fan got to run a race team "if that makes sense" I'm really glad he's been having a lot of success the past few years. Not just in F1, but in all forms of motorsport.
Zak Brown is the best boss ever! You could see he was so delighted to give Danny a go at the car. He's like the awesome dad that doesn't mind letting his son drive his precious collection of cars because he earned it. Kudos to Zak and his team for maintaining Dale's car. Such a thrill to watch!

Indeed, too many motorsports fans these days want to rank them against one another. In fairness, they are 3 different disciplines and if you're a true motorsports fan, you appreciate all 3 for what they are.

just to clarify for those not in the f1 sphere, he did not give him the car but promised a track opportunity with that car . nutted - bolted -and ready to be beat on. Danny and lando just make a killer combo for mclaren.
I really feel bad for being a bit harsh about Zak when he joined McLaren. What he proved to everyone is just outstanding. I also love the fact that he isn't keeping his collection only for himself but shares the happiness with others. True racing spirit 🧡
Zak and Daniel both acknowledged every fan I saw call out their name that weekend. I'm sure "being on" for the fans constantly must be difficult, and Drive to Survive has brought the F1 drivers and team principals a different level of widespread public fame.

Give a year or two for NASCAR to make transitions to more short tracks and road courses over the intermediates. I think that sort of racing is going to die out.
Being from the netherlands i grew up on f1, sportscars and rally. But recently got into Indycar and Nascar as well. I have to say the Stock cars of this era look incredible, love the bold liveries with well known brands.
So cool! Loved the tiny little details that was included...the open-faced helmet, the crew pushing the car out of the pits, and of course those victory donuts at the end.
This seals it. Daniel Ricciardo is officially my favorite F1 driver!!!! As an American F1 fan I love the nascar crossover stuff. Badass open face helmet too!!
I really want to see Ricciardo come to NASCAR for at least one race. It would most likely be at a road course if he did race one time, but it’d be cool to see him (hopefully) race against Chase Elliott, Kyle Larson, and Martin Truex, Jr. for the win.
I love seeing people in F1 having fun.... the sport always just seems so stuffy unless it’s mclaren and Red Bull doing something for the fans to entertain them. We need more of this. You people all have millions of dollars show us some fun.
Absolutely love the 1984 Richard Childress Racing wrangler Monte Carlo and one of the greats in the history of stock car racing. So glad Daniel got to not only drive stock car history but his own history
Ferrari didn't exactly changed much after he left tho, big difference is that Zak took over Ron and completely restructured the team from 2018 onwards.
I'm just poking fun. Alonso leaving had nothing to do with it. Zak was already at McLaren but only had a couple years with Fernando so couldnt change things that quick. He tried SO hard to keep Fernando too... you saw it in all his interviews and then in the video 'A-river-dirt-cheese"

Zach Brown is hands down the best CEO/BOSS in Formula 1 with the 2 most likeable drivers. McLaren is everyone's team. I don't care who you are, you can't help but to like the whole team. They are just built different.
I am a Ferrari fan but it is impossible not to feel respect and love for this team at Mclaren. Zac is the Mourinho of F1, all heart, passion and big nuts
for those wondering, I'm for the most part confident saying that, the wheel is slightly pointed right cause it's meant for oval racing which helps makes it easier for the driver to hold left turns for longer
Yeah I’ve actually heard some rumors that some nascar teams set their cars up to slowly drift left so you actually have to essentially turn slightly right on the straightaways.
His eyes was wide open with glee when finally he got to drive his NASCAR idols car! Like a little boy with a new toy he'd always wanted. Don't most of us dream of driving something like this. Apart from a screaming V12 F1, the sound of a grunting NASCAR is the other soundgasm!!
I hope we often get to see this kinda extra action. Man, I loved it. Props to Danny and Zak Brown. I just Love Danny's energy. It must be fun working with him.
Riccardo is now my favorite F1 driver it's awesome how big of an Earnhardt fan he is would be awesome if Dale Earnhardt Jr. invites him to come on the Dale Jr. Download and talks him into a jump to Nascar.
