@@manuellim6284 Actually, Daniel doesn't know Amanda during this movie and he doesn't have a girlfriend on this movie since his first girlfriend Ali broke up with him by cheating on him by dating another man at the senior prom, Daniel then had to break up with his second girlfriend Kumiko since she wasn't moving to the states (he almost proposed to her but got interrupted by Chozen), and here Jessica is only Daniel's friend since she already has a boyfriend in her home state. But if Daniel told Amanda about this scene, I would guess that she would have told Daniel that he should not have run off to that cliff without telling Mr. Miyagi the plan on getting that banzai tree from the cliff since in the next scene Mr. Miyagi said that he has a lot of banzai trees in stock after selling his truck where Daniel said to him "why didn't you tell me you were doing that?" where Mr. Miyagi said "when I woke up this morning you were gone" where Amanda would have told him that he should have told Mr. Miyagi where he was going.

​@@manuellim6284the reason Daniel lost to silver is cause he was unbalanced with his wife against him. In the second fight with silver Daniel is well balanced with his wife, family, Johnny and Chozen by his side

And also there was a reference to Austin Powers trilogy, because in first movies Austin Powers 1997 and Karate Kid 1984, they had their first love interests Vanessa and Ali, then the second movies Austin Powers 2 1999 and Karate Kid 2 1986, two years after the first movies, they had their love interests Felicity and Kumiko, and now the third movies Austin Powers 3 2002 and Karate Kid 3 1989, three years after the second movies, they had their love interests Foxxy and Jessica. Also Austin Powers has his own brother Dr. Evil and Daniel LaRusso has own teacher Mr. Miyagi in whole both entire trilogies together.
