Daniil Simkin - Ballet Don Quixote - Basil 

Daniil is soooo amazing!!! Not only can he do a billion turns but he has such amazing stage presence. Watching him at IBC was AMWESOME!

Have just discovered this clip. Simply amazing! I have seen some of the best in the business including Cope & Acosta. This young man really did it for me. I was nearly moved to tears by the pure brilliance of his performance. I am totally hooked & will be watching out for him whereever he next performs in Europe

People, Mr. Simkin is going to Amer. Ballet theatre! I think he will be in city center this autumn? Lets not compare him to Rudy or misha...this is his time. Lets just buy tickets and embrace this moment. The dance world needs someone like him, only 20years old and look at him acting and dancing with so much control of his character and movement. Kudos, Mr. Simkin.

Но как танцует Даниил! Как он несёт себя красиво! У него такая красивая выходка! И я имею в виду всё: осанку, манеру нести себя, эмоции, походку, жесты... Даниил просто прекрасен и дорог, мил! Он радует сердце, глаза, душу...! Как же он хорош!

He has that same quality as Baryshnikov. When he is dancing, I watch him all the time and forget to look at the girl/s.

How exciting to see such dazzling turns, jetes and fine footwork - what a brilliant dancer is this young Daniil Simkin. And his partner Miki Hamanaka gives a fine performance too, especially her marvellous fouettes.

This is another level altogether. Like every dancer, his body type is suited for some roles better than others. What is most impressive is the artistry, the phrasing and polish at such a young age, and his instincts. Clearly, his parents provided superb training and he was an inspired pupil. I look forward to seeing him in performance.

well, as a dancer that has watched pretty much every ballet video on youtube, in my opinion think that's basically the best basilio that can be seen in the world today. i started laughing it was so incredible!

Baryshnikov is my favourite male classical dancer of all time. I think he was phenomenal . I think Daniil Simkin is so very like him. I hope I get to see Simkin perform as I never managed to see Baryshnikov in his prime.

Normally, I think it looks awkward when the ballerina is taller than the danseur en pointe, but he's just amazing. Effortless. I'm in love!

He is not only a turner which is so necessary in bravura dancing...but his jumps are high, he is so flexible, and a great partner considering the ballarina is taller on point, but his attack of the role is on focus!

Very impressive. Those lifts around 2:09 are rather difficult, and he seemed to be struggling. I did enjoy the performance very much.
