Tovia, I love these cookies, just like the Italian butter spritz cookies I make. These cookies you made look better than the ones I've had. I like that scale that's the first time I've seen a scale that included measuring cup.. metal measuring cups at that! They look like really good quality I don't have metal measuring cups I use these measuring cups that are like the collapsible. Btw. You are very welcome I appreciate what you share on RU-vid here I feel really bad that you're going through things right now I really believe you will get through them. That is why I believe you make the world a sweeter place than what it is with your recipes and who you are Tovia. 🙂

I simply loooovvveee love love a well made butter cookie! And out of all the videos on RU-vid I had not found or tried a recipe that took me back to that childhood butter cookie! It that was shaped like a daisy flower and they came in a green box that was opened from the side with a flap and the box laid flat…….until yours CHEF TOVIA! Your recipe has taken me and my siblings back to childhood! NO CAP!🏆💪🏾💯I am subscribed to your savory cooking channel as well, where I replicated your cream cheese poundcake! It was sinfully decadent as well! I be yelling your name and talking out to loud to you as if you were right here in my kitchen after I taste and love these recipes.🙃🤣🤣🤣
Hey my friend, I love butter cookies, I have to make these 😍 thanks for showing how to weight the ingredients accurately and how to make them. I like that scale. You have there, I need a new scale and would love one of those. 💙

Tovia. I’m baking these for a month of bake sales. Do you have advice for keeping baked goods fresh? And perhaps which holds up better. Thanks so much. 🙏🏼
Baked goods have a tendency to stay fresh for a few days, cookies with higher amounts of fats will stay moist longer if stored properly. Shortbreads, ginger bread, and sugar cookies hold up the best in my opinion. Cakes hold up well and you can bake them in advance, wrap them tightly in plastic wrap and freeze them (up to 2 months). I'll post a video on this topic giving more tips. Cookies, store them in a cool dry place properly covered. I usually keep mine in the fridge and take them out and allow them to soften a bit at room temp and you're good to go.
