Well, in this one I got to go and meet the lovely Danish Pete Honore. Pete gives us a rundown of his latest pedalboard. We also unbox a surprise from ThorpyFX! There will be another video with me playing Pete's purple Tele and his new signature guitar and sharing my thoughts. Thanks Pete!

Sorry about some of the camerawork everyone! This was mainly handheld and i may have got a bit overzealous with the zoom 😬😬 was an off the cuff sort of thing, and safe to say I slightly regret not bringing 3 cameras and setting it all up properly! That’s exactly what he is like!! I was a bit nervous before i got there, of playing with him, but as soon as you meet Pete he makes you feel good and happy. Just one of those warm, authentic people! Cheers 🙌

Met him at Namm last year, and wow. Never have I met someone as kind and passionate about gear as Pete. After we finished chatting, he had to run off somewhere, but not before tapping me on the leg saying “I gotta run, nice to meet you!” He absolutely did not have to do that, but he did anyway. Class act

Always a pleasure to see Pete play. Is he super flashy? No, but he plays beautifully within the pocket without drowning out the groove of whichever track he's playing to.

Great vid! I have a Strymon Night sky. The Cloudburst is basically taking a small section from that and putting it in a smaller, more user friendly format. Always love to see Danish Pete! What a cool guy

If you had never switched from steaks to guitars as the focus of your channel-I don’t know who you would have ended up meeting (Gordon Ramsey?) but it wouldn’t have been Danish Pete. Pretty amazing.

Just subbed. James, did I hear you right saying you’ve only been playing for 3 years? My god man. You’re really good. It took yrs for me to get where I am. Not sure I heard right or what video. I think it was Why You Play. I’m going back to look. Oh ok just rewatching. I think you started the channel 3 yrs ago. Still a great player. Don’t listen to people who are envious b enjoy your gear you worked hard for. You don’t owe anyone anything.

Hi, great video and envious of some of the pedals on the board! Can you please say what the connectors are that are being used? They look robust and not a brand I know of.

Great video and love the Pink Edition Dane. Do you know what amp Pete was going through? And was the Cali76 an always on pedal? Amazing tones and your playing can definitely hang in his company.

Thanks! It was the Victory DP40 which sounded great. With the Cali 76 i think it was often turned off when showing an individual pedal but if he stacks then it comes on a lot 🙌👍🏼

What is turned on at 1:50 doing that octave effect? I never saw Pete turn on anything that sounded like that. He turned on that small blue octave thing but if thats it I guess he just didn't play anything that showed off that Jack White style sound if that was the same effect.

If we are talking about the same thing - the decibel meter? You can get those on amazon - i have one at home. Hope that’s what you mean? Cheers!

thanks! didn't get a chance to play it but Pete turned it on for a minute and then said, ooh it's brutal and changed to another amp. I played through the Victory DP40 :)

FYI from 0:50 - 1:00 that's pretty much Hendrix's lead tone on Who Knows from Band of Gypsys. So, if you can figure out which of Pete's pedals you were hitting in which random order, maybe jot that down.
