I prefer Dreamless over Crownless for a few reasons. 1) Multipliers. Crownless does ~320% damage while Dreamless does ~520% damage. Overall a minor difference outside of the bonus to Rover (who does ~780% damage with it). 2) AoE. Not really relevant on boss fights but for mob fights in open world and tower Dreamless absolutely destroys groups. 3) Ease of use/animation lock. Dreamless can be swap cancelled, which is huge for ease of use and safety, and since you don't need to use it at the start of your rotation (unlike Crownless which you use first for the buff) you can just use it at the end of the rotation where it will benefit from her self buffs and where you can swap out to another character to prevent Danjin from getting killed during the echo animation (which will continue to deal damage even after swapping out). Overall I just really hate echo animations since most of them are clunky and leave you open for the boss to destroy you which does more harm than the buffs they give. There's a reason most of the Danjin hologram solos you see out there either 1) don't have her using her echo at all or 2) use the rosebloom as main echo since it's a summon instead of a transformation so it doesn't have animation lock.
Oh, so there's a difference between ending her E combo on 2nd basic attack and on 3rd basic attack, i thought she would proc the mark regardless if i hit the enemy with the damage combo lol. This will technically be useful for later boss run, thanks for the guide
Sanhua overall provides a better buff since she buffs Basic Attacks and with Danjin the only heavy attack you do is to consume your forte gauge and on the other hand you'll be spamming basic attacks with E. Mortefi is better for Jiyan since during Jiyan's ultimate every attacks are considered heavy attacks. Appreciate that, thank you! ^^
@@Hellebore-waves yes i would say the same but didnt test it yet. Also dont forget the last AA after the heavy attack, or is it considered a heavy attack? It shouldnt i guess, sanhua also should buff that last attack. Sanhua is solid buffer also for havoc main character since you spam AA after getting dark form. Idk why Mortefi keeps coming to me, i want Danjin C2 and got 2 more Mortefis 🤣
11:30 mortefi is actually better than sanhua since heavy attack dmg makes up most of danjin's damage. 2nd largest contribution is resonance skill dmg, with basic attack dmg being 3rd in dmg contribution.
@@Hellebore-waves yea but if you looked on the graph, even though allat e's in the combos and only 1 fully charged HA, it still does the most amount of percent of damage in danjin
Excellent Guide.. I really find Danjin so freaking cool. Can I slot in Jianxin as my 3rd slot for shielding and healing or is Jianxin better with some other team?
I play Verina-Jianxin for overworld, and swapping in Mortefi S2 in time-attack content. Jianxin-Veria maybe overkill for defensive support, but Jianxin help as on-field because u dont want to walk Danjin with low hp in the overworld.
I really like Jianxin with Danjin, alongside both forms of Rover I've played about 80% of the entire game with this team. In the overworld, Jianxin shield lets you stress out less about Danjin dying to some random attack from off-screen. The grouping Jianxin provides is also super helpful for landing DJ heavy attack on more enemies. I know Verina buffs are stronger, but I think Danjin and Jianxin are a wonderful duo. I usually play havoc rover as the third, ult into Dreamless provides insane burst and takes advantage of Danjin's exit skill.
Jianxin is better for Calcharo but for Danjin Sanhua is still better. I didn't look into Jianxin enough yet (going to work on a Calcharo showcase so I'll look into it with Jianxin) but I think she boots heavy attacks so Sanhua is better for the AA boost
@@GryphonTooth Exactly same thoughts.. the shielding and grouping is soo good.. Although Jianxin grouping doesn't last long enough for Sanhua to insert between.. so sanhua probably still better than Jianxi. in her comp.. probably best slotted by verina for the 3rd
What do you think about using mortefi instead of sanhua? He can do off-field damage and if you time his outro before you do the full heavy attack for danjin, she can do insane damage.
If you prefer you can but overall Sanhua will provide more buff dmg. You only do one HA with Danjin so Mortefi' ult only triggers once while you do multiple AA so you get more benefits from Sanhua's buff!
I started building her,but i run her 4,4,1,1,1 because i dont have any good 3's,and tbh my 4's and 1's are somewhat cracked. I sit at 51% Crit and around 240% C-Damage(Sadly yet no Weapon.) But someday i will get Havoc-Dmg 3's,right?
Going that way until you get better echoes is completely fine! In case you didn't know, you can track specific echoes and then you just farm them until you drop something useful for you. Maybe I could make an echo guide on how to farm them?
If you really want a reroll for Danjin it might be hard. Low invest is at least S2 and full invest is S5. 4☆ are harder to get compared to 5☆ because you don't have a guaranteed so you can get 5 4☆ without getting Danjin. Good luck if you'll reroll for her!
C'est sûr c'est un bon buff pour la team mais pour la vidéo je partais surtout d'un point de vu "personnel" à Danjin pour ce qui va lui procurer encore plus de dégâts supplémentaires. La S6 est très bien mais plus optionnel pour le perso
Jianxin takes a lot of on-field time (showcase on her is coming up in the upcoming hour) so you would lose DPS by using her in this team. Taoqi buffs skill dmg so it's an option but not the best one. If you don't care about any of the negative aspects I just gave then go and play what will make you the most happines, this is what matters the most!
I get what you mean. I think she’s pretty complicated since the game mechanics force us to dodge and parry. Hence getting her to do full combo is a really high risk. Then again, I heard high level bosses can one shot us, so it’s just a matter of polishing your skill before you reach that level.
@@WwSirajjthere's also another combo that I haven't seen any content creator mentioned yet, which is a dodge counter into 2 BA. This combo charges up her forte gauge really fast. But need to unlock her talent first
