I remembered the first time I heard this in the anime... Every single hair in my body stood up and chills ran up my spine.

For all of you that were hoping for a second season, your prayers have been answered. On this day, next week, season two will officially begin.

Honestly, however amazing his fight against the Goliath was, there is some feeling of desperate and epic struggle in the Minotaur fight that cannot be repeated quite as easily. While on totally different scales, I enjoy the Minotaur fight more because of bell using his pure talent and force of will in a fast-paced, deadly battle with something far greater than him at that moment. The strike of the hero, however awesome, feels like it takes skill out of what Bell is doing, as it feels like the Goliath fight was mostly just Bell waiting on a cooldown to kill a big thing. It was epic, but I don't think it can reach that feeling of close-personal down to the wire epic combat that the Minotaur fight evoked. Just an opinion though, to each their own.

Yet another anime I misjudged because of its name. Thought it was gonna be some typical harem show, but it actually turned out to be really good and have some amazing scenes in it.

The fight scene between Bell and the one horned minotaur is hands down, my favorite fight scene in all of anime. In no small part due to this music. DanMachi has become one of my cherished favorite animes.

To be honest, I more love anime story with mc zero to hero than overpowered mc. because zero to hero mc more challenging and heartbreaking.. usually i get inspired by its story. especially when Bell try to save Artemis.. he thought he can save her... but it's not... he think he already powerfull enough to save everyone but its not.. or Tanjirou from demon slayer, try to save Rengoku but can't.. or many again like bnh, naruto, black clover, demon slayer, shield hero.. especially danmachi

At first, Bell and his first adventure were enough to make me love this theme by far more than just for being a beutiful song, but after watching Argonaut's story on Memoria Freese, it just reached a whole new level, is a lot more meaningful. As far as I'm concerned, Bell (alongside his past life, Argonaut) have become one of my favorite heroes of all time. Edit: also, nothing more epic than to read Bell's fight with Asterios while listening this endlessly.

This is nostalgic for me. One of the first ever anime I've seen, this introduced me into the genre. Listening now, I realise how this timeless masterpiece does not age with time, it merely improves.

so glad this showed up in my recommendations for I forgot how epic this theme was, not to mention there's finally a second season, I remember scouring for translated and raw mangas/novels of it but all was behind the season1 anime for at least 2 years before I gave up

Had to keep coming back here over and over again. Bell, with all his young age, is one of the best MCs who wanted to be a hero. He had his cheat skill, and yet he always has uphill battles. Every major encounter was hard fought. Not the one shot overkill most characters show. Came from the bottom of the barrel fighting his way up with a goddess that no one even wanted to be with because of her minority. Chose to spare a supporter that betrayed him over and over despite what everyone else said merely because he simply want to. Fought the monster that traumatized him against his odds to uphold his own honor. Fought two familias for his own, and to save Haruhime. Held his own against an absorbed goddess and still had the capacity to not lose himself over the grief of having to kill her. Made allies and friends and inspires them to reach new heights. Earned the respect of the rival familia that laughed at him. Dueled his resurrected rival, and with his losses, still fights harder to reach his goals. He doesn't yield his ground to protect Wiene and her friends even if it meant turning the whole Orario against him. Fought his role model, and reason to go stronger, despite the power difference to hold his point. Fought, and continues to fight monsters stronger than him. Bell is younger than most MCs. But the sheer character he has inspires me. I hope the following seasons come out great. He has a lot of good arcs in the LN.
