It's one of those tv relationships that you wouldn't think works but it SO does. They have brilliant chemistry and a more realistic love story/relationship than most tv couples.
I know the relationship between them got so problematic and toxic but for me I think it was a shame that in order to write CM out of the show, they went down the route of destroying a couple that I love so much. Neither were perfect but it felt authentic that they were destined to be together because their chemistry was insane and I believe they had a genuine and unique friendship first. Still they had some magical moments which of course including Danny dancing for Mindy for the first time and their amazing first kiss. I will always love them even if I felt that they assassinated the character of Danny too much just to separate them as a couple. Love these clips. 🥰
I agree...we as the audience fell in love with this couple because of their differences. But due to Chris Messina leaving the show they made him an unlikeable character. I still love these to cause they complement each other and grew up in the end.
Yeah, until he started the whole “trying to impregnate my fiancé without her knowing and assuming she’s going to give me more kids, give up the career she loves and worked years for and stay home for the rest of her life” phase it was so cute 😔😔
Yeah it was so sad! But glad they honored him wanting to leave the show AND that he loved the show enough to still come back, so they could sort of finish their relationship.
@@noni5961 He was already in love with her or into her from the get go especially at the end of season 1 when she left to Haiti with Casey. The way he looked at her and almost kissed her showed that and the fact that there was tears in his eyes when she told him she got back with Casey
Gah watching this was a reminder that Danny said he wanted one son and Mindy was explicit about not wanting to stay at home and wanting nannies. Danny just conveniently forgot all of that somehow.
Even though I *hate* how it worked out that is just BRILLIANT writing. To have that built in already. So even when it breaks your heart it’s actually not a surprise
I came JUST to say that. He was himself since the beggining, but their chemistry was sooooo good and the story so well written that we forgot about that.
