Yep. Just recently heard the story about what he did on the Matilda movie way back when. The mother of the little girl who played the lead role was battling cancer during filming and was unlikely to see the release date, so he took a cut down to the hospital and played it for her. Along with being a great influence on her daughter and watching over her while they worked together. What a guy.

Haven't met a soul in our galaxy that dislikes Danny. Dude just finds what he loves and goes for it! The way that frank evolved in always Sunny is alot to do with him and how far they could push it.

I worked on Cheers and met Danny then as well as the children and now they are all grown up. Always a gentleman and it was great fun. Jimmy Burrows is a great director and family man. Cheers was a great show to work on. 🙏💜👏

Love the older generation of artists, actors, musicians, and even magicians who always help to promote each other's work during interviews! It Spreads the word and is so classy to do! I bet David Blain is so honored that Danny talked about his show for so long on Jimmy's show! It's seems like some of the newer generation just want to talk about themselves. Me me me.

Too much vanity and narcissism in this world right now due to cell phones and the internet. There are health care workers graduating from college now that will end up responsible for taking care of future people and some of them are absolutely terrible at it because of vanity.

One of my favorite movies of all time is "Ruthless People" with Danny DeVito and Bette Midler. I had been searching for it and my adult daughter found and ordered it on DVD as one of my Christmas presents. Couldn't have been more delighted. I held off watching it until New Years as part of my celebration. If you've never seen it, I highly recommend it. It's hilarious.

Lucy is well on her way to being every bit as delightful and engaging as her iconic dad. As for Danny, who would ever know he was 96!!! I am glad Lucy grew up in his world, and I expect that when it’s time, she will continue the DeVito comedic legacy while putting her own distinct spin on it. I loved this interview-can’t wait to find out what they will be doing on Broadway. My husband and I saw The Producers with original cast twice on Broadway, then again with a different but terrific cast at the Kennedy Center.❤️ We loved every bit of its clever humor.

Someone should cast DD as Hercule Poirot. He's got the right build, Poirot was on the small side "with an egg-shaped head".
