He has some valid points. But....we must stop using plastics. Why aren't plastic company's doing more ....much more. They need to Get with it .or boycott them We also need better electric buses & cars . And grow our own vegetables in our country ...be Ireland, Wales, Scotland, France. . Why I'm I getting tomatoes from Poland . .Surely they cud be cheaper grown in Wales or Devon etc ..
But if we change to electric transport our economy will collapse as we are oil based economy. There is also no alternative electric equipment for agriculture. Electric cars also do more harm then good and they are expensive. All the employment in the oil industry in ireland would be gone if we switch to electric. And where does the electricity come from to power electric cars? A few fossil fueled power plants. Ireland is to small to do any major harm to the environment.

Too small to do any harm, look at the guy over there... etc. The economy will not "collapse," and, even if it did, it would simply prove how immoral and twisted the economic system is. No money to fix the problems, but people seem to have unlimited funds for booze, etc.
EVs are as polluting as petrol until they reach 60,000 kms minimum. Meaning the energy used to make and dispose of them ie Cobalt and Coal etc amounts to same as petrol up to 60k mileage. Not as green as we are led to believe.
