my cousin Michelle was in his dance troop in the late 80s early 90s, i was only a young teen but was taken to a few after parties, amazing gent, gave respect to all who worked for him and their families , honest, honestly generous , legend

He was a wonderful man, entertainer and god sent human being - I am so grateful to have met him and spent time chatting with him for a little while in 1984 God rest his beautiful soul x

First time I saw Dan was in Panto in Bournemouth. It was Cinderella. He and Alan Haynes were the ugly sisters. Together they were terrific, both huge professionals. I was about 8/9. That was about 58 years ago!! I saw him at his club in Hanover square. I was underage with a great deal of makeup on! Danny at the Palace was great too. As they say, they don’t make em like that anymore!!

What some ridiculous comments on here,Dan was a friend for over 40 year's he wasn't scary in the least
