The Fenton house is filled with ghost weaponry. There's actually a defense system built in that will attack anyone using ecto-energy. It makes sense considering the town is constantly attacked by ghosts and was once even trapped in the ghost zone. Also the Fentons often leave their inventions just lying around the house, including Jazz and Danny.
1:35 stick with "our family" it's still my headcanon that most people think Danny Phantom is an ancestor of the Fentons. If they actually leaned into it Danny could've talked to Jack easier and it would make sense that the Fenton's crazy ghost hunting ancestor continued to hunt ghost even after he became one.
,,,,,, I would read that story. It'd make sense to them honestly. After all, ghosts tend to have a theme/obsession, having the Fenton ancestors be ghost hunting really works and would explain his whole setup and all.
Never understood why he wipes his parents memory in the special with the Reality Gauntlet. His parents were accepting and Olay with it, would be pretty good overt allies when in the know, and it would just make his whole deal easier. So there's overall no downside. Instead, he wipes their memories just to maintain the status quo , but doesn't even think to, say, wipe Vlad's memory of his identity.
@jordanwright2072 If you're going to wipe people's memory of your secret identity, you might as well wipe your archnemesis's. Sure, he might figure it out at some point, but at least for a while you won't have to worry about him always being able to find you when your in your secret identity and you have less cases of using people you care about as leverage.
I think it was because of his deal with Vlad - and despite hating Vlad, he respects him enough to keep their shared secret and not needlessly endanger him (because, as Danny even points out - Jack and Maddie would NOT have accepted Vlad being half ghost in pretty much ANY circumstances))
A despise that type of s*** and show it's just to keep it going. As if they need that as a focus plot to continue the series. There's nothing wrong with it in the form of entertainment it's just that it's oversaturated. Not counting the constant reboots of already beloved characters. The constantly has to rehash it. Got to keep my identity a secret. Meanwhile the fans are constantly waiting for it to be exposed so we can get some new interaction between the characters. Smh
from what I remember, there was a reason for why he didn't let it happen at the time, but I don't remember what. could have been anything: evil uncle; half-evil time ghost that doesn't really like Danny and sees him as having a specific destiny; the emotional impact of them nearly destroying their son on multiple occasions?
he did it out of semi respect for Vlad I think - due to his deal with Vlad that if one gets revealed so does the other. That's also why, in Phantom Planet, Vlad forced Danny into obscurity to the point of becoming fully human before he reveals he's half ghost.
@@lunawolf6288serves them right he probably said that because of all the times in the past they were after his blood and after what they did in the Fenton menace they definitely deserved to be insulted by evil Danny and didn't even apologize then Jack has the nerve to blame his wife for not figuring out sooner despite the fact that they were both oblivious
I know Danny's parents aren't perfect most of the time but their hatred for ghost gets out of hand Danny phantom helped Jack save his family even though he didn't have to and he still doesn't trust him
That is something I wish the show did, Jack initially outright hating Danny but slowly beginning to respect him until he flat out starts to trust him. I think it would've been a nice form of development in character.
@@connerthewubbzler1062I actually agree with this, kinda weird how they never seem to change their mind about the ghost boy when he’s actively on their side helping them at multiple points.
@@xavierrivera3407 I mean - I honestly like to headcanon that they started to respect him, but we're keeping up an act. Otherwise they really wouldn't be so quick to accept him when finding out the truth
@@xavierrivera3407 It's really weird how this show has so much depth, yet it's afraid to go all in with its depth. Like, they give the Ghosts back stories, build up the world, and even have a Villain like Vlad, but yet they don't have character growth for most of the cast. Don't even get me started on the "Evil Danny" phase, that alone would've been a genuine gold mine of ideas. Like, can you imagine if Tucker and Sam led the resistance against him? There would be so much lore and banter alone that would make it an awesome story.
@@SonySlasher2468while I myself would never address my parents by their first name, saying that doing so is un-forgivable is a bit much my guy. Epically because there are times in life where your parents may have to be addressed by their name. Like if you’re looking for them or describing them to somebody.
@zackwyatt169 See Kazuya's and Heihachi's interaction in Tekken for reference. And while you're at it watch Kosuke's interaction with Lisa in Ponyo. Take a hint.
1:12 Happy place, happy place, HAPPY PLAAAAACE!! 1:47 🎵 You were wrong! Ghosts exist! 2:53 3:46 I get my hands on you and tear you apart, molecule by MOLECULE!
Yeah, all these scenes with Danny trying to please. His dad is pretty nice I especially like all of them from well. 1000 ghost episode I think it’s called $1 million ghost I believe and then we got identity crisis and then reality trip all episodes with Danny trying to please his dad’s work and I do appreciate that a lot. I just wish that Danny would actually accept his mistake from reality trip and not reverse it because I think it would be better just to have a better season three actually have people that he could trust with his powers but oh good for Danny and his dad thanks for making my day❤❤❤❤😊😊😊🎉🎉🎉 PS good on you getting that awesome computer back
u ghost kid when i get my hands on u i ll tear u apart MOLECULE BY MOLECULE-Jack cant go ghost while on my fenton family vacation-Danny LISTEN TO ME WHEN IM TALKING TO U-Jack
@@kirongauff4934that's what everyone who watched the show wonders too which even dark Danny brings up it's like superman and Clark kent. In doctors disorders Jack and Maddie are skeptical about the idea of humans having ghost powers so I was thinking in Danny's universe the idea of this average boy having ghosts of abilities seems impossible or a boy with no physical fitness whatsoever fighting crime is absurd but still people are that oblivious. Paulina even noticed Danny phantom showed up wherever Danny does but still didn't put two and two together.
@@tamyasaunders7689 well he was right about Sam being responsible for turning his son into a ghost because the episode Memory Blank backs up his statement.
"now, bear with me. I know this may sound strange, but when you're an infamous ghost hunter and things might phase through your walls at any moment... ecto cannon in the shower it is!" Jack Fenton... probably XD
He's got very specialized intelligence. It happens a lot to people with specialized professions, and with nurodivergent people with specialized interests
