Hmm, so we're mainly discussing a damage cap, right? I'm still not sure how I feel about that. If the cap only limits damage while the character remains fully functional in every other aspect, I think I might be okay with it, but I'm still undecided.

Technically DMG wise Trish is worse than both EJ and CT , her biggest upside is that she can be slotted in instead of royal guard or one man show/ swift arsenal for Physical and electric lineup so she deals extra dmg

@vergil9981 Sounds like your LID is underdeveloped. She's the electric red shield breaker. That's a dps role. If your Trish is at CL 21 She's going to struggle with late game content. All limited hunters are suitable with a hell weapon of either type. Most of the complaints are due to a weakness coming from some ignored stat bonus. LID, SA, CA being the first double resonance team is not something to sleep on.

@@OutlawKing13 being shield breaker isn't a DPS role is a support role , yes red shields get breaken with DMG still you are comparing a 600k DMG character to a 1.6 M DMG character yes Also being double reasonance means little to no diff , at SS+ her bulk of DMG is physical so electric reasonance does little to nothing and while 30 rate from physical is extremely good , she doesn't get bleed bonus on that team so phantom is useless which is the best card set in the game , again CT and Ej out perform her in their mono lineups Again in a 1:1 investment EJ or CT clear DMG wise

@vergil9981 that's not how roles work or how LID damage works. Her electric damage is tied to her basics, and her physical damage is tied to her style skill (which is CD restricted on how much you can use it). The only thing keeping EJ and CT as the top damage dealing units is their signature runes. DB and EN are just as proficient as both those units, and as players get their level 5 runes for DE and BT (when his are released soon), they will be just as viable. You should look into the strategy tab a bit better and actually read the info. Lastly. Phantom is not the best card set. There are only 3 hunters that bleed.

There are various possibilities for character builds, and I'm just suggesting Minatour and Plutone as ideas for potential builds. Honestly, it would be easier to recommend a specific build if we could see the character's abilities and stats. For instance, I have a Physical Crit Rate build on DBringer Nero that works surprisingly well. Ultimately, it depends on what attributes the character scales with, so I'm just making assumptions for now.

@@cleverfoxsol And that's a fair point of course. My suggestion really just comes off from the idea that with no info to base it off, if we were doing a split wouldn't that be better? Again I'm no expert, so in part this was to better my own understanding of cards PS. good to have you back, your EJ video was the most informative video I've seen on the game and it helped me alot in learning how to plan my own characters

Depends on which game, part of the timeline we are talking about, but overall vergil always had more for me over dante its not until we get into the best game of all time when we change to the better Dante of all time and that DMC 2
