Dante and Vergil have always technically been on the same level of strength, Dante tends to win his fights with Vergil however in terms of how many times they best each other they are actually even. These two are so iconic you cant really put them up against each other with one definitive winner as they are both equal to each other
No DMC fan would rule out who's the real winner between Dante and Vergil because we treat them both as equal. No question. So i like the result of this.
Vergil was always a step behind Dante because he rejected his humanity his literal other half and in dmc 5 when he finally accepts it he is a complete equal to Dante
What's cool is that they are always keep up to one another. When Vergil was stronger than Dante (DMC3), Dante was able to keep up to Vergil's level in the end. After that, Vergil became stronger than Dante by splitting himself into 2 (DMC5) but Dante managed to become slightly stronger by gaining SDT. Quickly after that, Vergil became whole again and became stronger than Dante. In the end of DMC5, they are straight up equal.
@@julelsonkelson8512 Raw Power technically Dante wins. The man has created his own sword, has other weapons to boat about and has more styles then Vergil. And he has a Separate Power enhancer based solely on defense.
Dmc 3 vergil > dmc 5 vergil . I'm not saying that dmc 5 vergil is bad or anything like that but you need to know dmc 3 vergil to understand MIGHT AND POWER
fr just play the games, i love them so much. the character development, their rivalry as brothers but eventually finding their own way to settle things, it's all a masterpiece
This has to be one of the best rivalries in all of fiction. It’s just so perfect how they had always been different even though they were twins and raised in the same household. Even though Vergil had to go down the darker path, I love that dmc5 gave us Dante and Vergil working together and having an amazing fight. Just perfect
He forgotten to put Motivation Plastic chair Cut off Nero Arm Doesn't pay child support Power Where's your Motivation Dante Wants your Power so he could kills you and run away from his sons Getting away from Child support Stab himself Also Stab Dante Wins the Fight Running Away from Dante when Dante need vergil to pay his Child support son Using Computer for first time Researching for Power source that he use Computer first time Can Dance Also Hate dancing Has wife Telling some lies he doesn't have wifes Doesn't have Shin Megami tensei 3 so No Outerversal for him only dante Does Leaving Nero again for getting the Milk same as Dante BURY THE LIGHT And Forgot to Put Dante points is Pizza Lover Always eating Pizza Calling his nephew *D E A D W E I G H T* Get stabbed by Deathweight Stab himself too Fucking Get stab by Every Piece of Media Entire Devil may cry game so The DMC writer did alot dirty to him LOL Use Bike Royal Guard Trying Capture Vergil for running away from Child support Has Fangirl simp Favorites to Eat Strawberry Sundae Can Dance too Michael Jackson dancing moment so he can *HEE HEE* Pretty Creepy that's why Vergil run away for that Also Moonwalks Can Skateboard with Rocket Like Uncle like nephew Has Girl Also has Essex with Hottest Girl ever while being Drunk fool dante lose his virgiñ He know what Essex is having fun with Nevan Having fun with some Ladies while drunk again Has Cool design Has Gawr Gura. @@-Lyreo- are you serious? DMC 3 Manga: Vergil beats Dante but let’s him go because Vergil said he can come back and beat him anytime for the amulet DMC 3: Vergil beats Dante after a year, proving his point that he can beat him at anytime DMC 1: Vergil as Nelo beats Dante their first fight DMC 5: Urizen beats Dante THREE TIMES in the first encounter Round 1: Dante gets put on his ass after fighting him for almost a full day Round 2: Urizen knocks Dante out of DT and breaks Rebellion Round 3: Dante tries to use Sparda but then gets instantly put into a coma Later in DMC 5: Vergil, after coming back, could’ve easily beat Dante but he want Dante to be at peak condition so it would be more fair Vergil literally beat Dante more than Dante beat Vergil, that’s why in the end credits when they are sparing Dante saying “score for Dante, I’m up 1” and Vergil says “where’d you learn to count, we’re even”, Vergil was right, he had the lead and Dante beating him tied them up
If you play the game you’ll know for real. Initially, Vergil was stronger because he was always embracing his demonic powers while Dante was just living carefree. At the end of dmc3, Dante won because he developed himself to embrace his humanity and sense of love and justice while Vergil did not. Now in dmc5, Vergil finally learned to open up and embrace his humanity once more (after splitting them up). Therefore, their strength had become equal once more.
True. Their name is on fittingly perfect as "Sparda Twins" as both of them has equal when it comes strength power. Iconic. Eventually they would finding own way to settle things
@@JTgaines101 When Vergil dropped his human half , V, and became full demon I wanna assume he stopped aging, as Dante seems older than Vergil now even though he’s the younger of the 2. And then when Vergil and V became one again, he stayed the same as when they seperated
@@traagicshotss5449 It’s cannon that Demons don’t age, so yes. It’s also cannon that Dante and Vergils Devil Trigger’s are actually indefinite, since demonic energy is limitless. So if Dante wanted to stop aging he could too, he just prefers to stay human so he’s middle aged now lol.
@@Mwright4444 oh see I didn’t play all the games, but I’ve seen a good bit of clips from parts I didn’t play through and they always looked to be the same age relatively, so I had assumed since they’re both part human, they can both age and much like you said, demons don’t age so I was assuming that Vergil just stopped aging completely when he became a full demon, when he released V by stabbing himself with the Yamato
@RAYHAN REHEMA PUTRA the only thing which keeps dante alive is the Royal guard and his insane healing capability but vergil has speed on his side but can't tank some attacks. Vergil also has the same healing capability
@@Altair_Aditore No, Dante didn’t win solely because of that, it was clearly shown in the end credits of that Dante could best Vergil in skills, if anyone, Nero is the one who tends to rely on his durability more
They are like Ying and Yang, they will be everytime on the same lvl bc they hate and love each other so much that nobody of them want to lose. D:"U know, iam starting to think this is never gonna end." V:"Maybe, but we got a plenty of time!"
I think everyone treats them equally since the games made that part very clear. They are brothers and equally powerful rivals. Not much else can be said.
@@insertnameherebecauseicant9686 especially with certain missions where the score system is broken, you get an SSS combo but still is not a high enough score for an S. I still don’t know how I was that patient
Vergil's the person that puts all his stats into speed and skill damage and Dantes the type of person who puts all his stats into strength and durability Perfectly balanced as all things should be
It would be more accurate to say that Vergil is more experienced with his Demonic abilities. Dante is as skilled as his brother but he didn't pursue absolute strength and explore the power of his heritage like Vergil did.
The thing is, dante really never bothers to get stronger, he only gets stronger in the games, when he randomly gets new abilitys/weapons by beating his enemies, the only time I can remember where he really tried to get stronger is in dmc5, while vergil does everything to get stronger, he even mastered swordsmanship to use yamato at its fullfiest, while dante does preatty much has no real technique in his swordsmanship Dante is the one who was born with more Potential, but he never really bothers to get stronger
lets just say always from the first game to dmc 5 dante is a very skilled fighter he always has been but vergil is stronger so skilled fighter over stronger fighter dante wins this
Vergils power is from within he inherited his father's demon heritage more then dante but dante inherited his fathers weapon mastery and his powers from his father is exemplified through his arsenal and his unique ability to synergies with them. They are equal and that doesn't necessarily mean that dante will lose without his weapons either. In sin devil trigger the roles are a little reverse. Vergil opens up more combos with his weapons and dante only uses the devil sword dante in his sin devil trigger this game is absolutely beautiful
with dante being the strength build while vergil's the dexterity build. they both are in the same level... which is why they both equally match each other
I think battle experience has the Vergil. He is actually stronger. Now after eating the fruit. From what I saw in lore they are rather like u said equal or Vergil is bit stronger.
The funny thing about both is that they are the different side of the same coin, they are different but the same, that's why they always tie and at the end of the game Nero says that if they don't stop the fights of both they will end up killing each other
