I saw them in texas on the 4p tour. April 1995. The Internet existed, but was not as ubiquitous as it is today. When the band came on stage to the music of cwn annwn I had no idea who the new drummer was. I was a little bummed because I was expecting Chuck on drums, the giant demon skull backdrop, and instead there was this giant tarp with eyes and a mouth. Good show. I was right up front the whole night. Danzig fell off the stage during little whip and ran through the barricade slapping the shit out of everyone who reached out to touch him. Security had a tough time getting him back in the stage as it was pitch black and rather high.
Oh man, I miss those 90's in-stores! They were always so much fun! Meet other cool kids while waiting in line on the bands. My first was Slayer in Houston in the fall of 94. I met Danzig two years after that and many other artists like Pantera and White Zombie to name just a few. The early & mid nineties were some great and excellent times!

I’m pretty sure I went to this. Was this when he was going to play After the signing across the street at the Whiskey in LA? I remember I went with 2 friends, one was holding line for us at the free show at the whiskey while me and chad just wanted to meet him. He signed my Danzig 4 cd. I was like 15. I asked Glenn “hey Glenn how about doing last caress tonight”?. He smiled and Eerie von says to me “you missed that one about 15 yrs ago kid”. I asked who the new drummer was, and Joey introduced himself. I wouldn’t meet him again until 1999 in Federal Way WA when he did a comic signing at this comic shop.
I met him at comic con once, he’s a collector of action figures etc. He was cool then. Miss tower and going to buy things physically. Luckily vinyls made a 200% comeback 🤘😎
Vinyl is inferior to CD and hi-res digital on every technical level, double blind studies show the vast majority of people (about 96%, according to one study) prefer digital audio sources to vinyl, vinyl contaminates the air with carcinogens when handled, and their production and lack of recyclability is extremely bad for the environment. Landfills aren't even technically supposed to accept them. Look into it. Enough with vinyl already. It's been obsolete for four decades now.
Haha this is awesome. Glenn doesn't feel like smiling, he doesn't smile, doesn't feel like talking back but still signs the shit in front of him unless they're bootlegs fuck that lol.
