Another excellent loco from dapol and this one is one of the best ready to run sound fitted models ive had, please let me know your opinions in the comments and check out my facebook page @northwesttrainsmodels
Hi, A stunning Quality loco from Dapol. Value for money Ready To Run without issues and the sound is nice balanced too ! Quite rare these days with other makes. Might put it on my wish list. Success & happy model railroading.
@@northwesttrainsmodels Thanks for your reply! Is it still running fine ? Some model railroaders experience problems with the coupling between loco and tender resulting in sound cutting out because of contact loss. Filip
No problem I must admit I had to initially change the loco because the decoder burnt out oh though I do think it was faulty from the start since that's been replaced I've not had any issues oh though I suppose it's probably best to limit the amount of times you disconnect or connect the tender incase it does wear out
I have 7301 in Great Western Green with BR Numberplates. Her firebox glow shows up nice and bright. Dapol have done us modellers proud, make no mistake. 7301 (GWR Mogul) was the first Dapol model I purchased. Second in line was 7819 Hinton Manor in BR Black with the emblem, and I've pre-ordered a third Dapol model: my beloved 7822 Foxcote Manor. I'm really loving the models Dapol are giving us. God's Wonderful Railway is my favourite Big Four Railway Company, I'm a Great Western Girl. What's your favourite?😂
thats great, i do like dinmore manor thats the only one ive seen running in real life am looking forward to getting that model, i must admit my favorite is the lms with being in the north west and especially the black 5s and the fairburns
It minorly clicks & majorly ticks, not a problem handling the Peco points - Did i see a siding with a fish-plate on it?, that's something a) i've never done, because b) you don't see it on a real railway - She's a good'un apart from the click & tick issue & may i enquire how much?
its an old piece of hornby steel track i decided to weather and stick down as an unused siding i will snip of the fish plate and cover with greass and weeds eventually, the loco cost 265.00 with the ready sound fitted model, thanks for watching, Tom
Hi Alan dcc ready basically means that the locomotive has a decoder socket in stalled so it can take a decoder to make it dc fitted, a dc fitted loco has the decoder already installed in the socket, hope this is of help, thanks for watching. Tom
