I remember seeing this in a magazine years ago. My heart just broke for both ladies, especially Daralynn. I hate bullying of those who choose to be different.
Thank you for remembering Mrs. Berg and honoring her with such an empathic and sensitive video. It is horrible enough that ladies like Mrs. Berg are made to have the impression that they look "not modern". And a hairstylist shouldn't act like this. I am sure when the Ssylist had taken Mrs. Berg's super long hair and said: "Mrs. Berg, your hair is so very very long, but it is very well-cared and beautiful. You surely are very attached to it. Do you really want to cut it?" Mrs. Berg would have felt that her work and care for her super long hair is recognized and she would have said: "No, I don't want it. I'll keep my hair. Thank you very much for the nice compliment."
I remember her. I thought the haircut was a travesty. I'm sure that GH got plenty of angry mail about this one. There was a lawyer woman with knee length hair (Caryn?) who was similarly butchered for a mag. If I remember, Dara Lynn got hacked to her chin with bangs.
