Peace be upon you.. a warm greeting to you.. the oud has an eloquent tune, well done... and it has the rhythm at the top... rhythm smoothly and with complete comfort... really well done.. moving the left hand is very difficult.. and what a secret between the artist and His musical instrument.🤩👏
I am sorry that I do not know who sent a negative message to me... it was lost in the thousands of emails that I receive every month from multiple email addresses... but the gist of the message was that the instrument this guy is playing in NOT A LUTE but something else. OK... duly noted! NEVERTHELESS.... I stand by my prior opinion that these two are absolutely fantastic musicians!! I am totally AMAZED by the drumming of this woman who does it all with just her fingers. The guy that she is backing up is also and probably more obviously very talented. I just do not know the proper name for the instrument that he is playing.
it feels monotone playing darbuka is not only about finger rolls you need to maintain some balanced and proportional transmissions between different playing moves.. let the piece take a little "breath"
Yeah, it sounds like they are playing 2 different melodies, harmony or whatever. I know nothing about playing instruments or this type of music, but something isn't right here. Kind of like a bad drum circle where everyone is playing different shit at the same time.
Azad adam in some westernized Arabic music their is some slight harmony. The Oud player isn’t that good , and isn’t mic’s the way he should be. She’s fantastic
Darbuka player may have a good technique but I think her playing sounds prastic and boring. Fast and same fingerling,, not emotional and no particular color in each notes. She is probably more into playing in front of camera.. To play music doesnt mean to have an amzing technique but it is often enough to play from our heart. Try to improvise or try to express with really listening to our heart. Therefore I dont like to see this kinda video in which someone can play music technically good but rather showing off finally.
Name of this musical instrument isn't oud Arabs call this instrument oud and Oud in arabic means wood Barbat is real name of this instrument Barbat created this instrument, ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-bt5tpAsgjI8.html a historical Sassanian, Kushanian and Baktrian Instrument it's not Arabic or middle Eastern en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barbat_(lute)
No, my friend. The barbat is a VERY similar instrument but what you see in the video is most certainly an Arabic oud. Notice how the barbat curves quite far into the neck whereas the oud is less so. Perhaps the oud may have come from the barbat but that doesn't make them the same instrument (it's only a theory until there is actual evidence to prove it). And anyway, what does it matter if oud means wood. After all, what's the instrument made of?
Proud Iranian Learn the differentiate between Oud and the other one. Oud is originally from Mesopotamia “Iraq and Syria” and some of experts said that is from Andalusia.
