I -love- Rother's electro, but I think his finest and most mature work is his ambient explorations: Elixir of Life, Magic Diner, Vom Urknall Zur Maschine, The Machine Room, 62 Minutes On Mars, etc.

Für mich der absolute King.... einfach WAHNSINN...!!!! So viele Top Tracks..... "so Good" war der erste Track den ich vor vielen Jahren gehört habe und heute noch Gänsehaut bekomme....hab mir dadurch die anderen Sachen regelmäßig angeschaut und es gibt so viele Monster Tracks....!!!! Geilomat - nebst all der harten Musik, die ich mir rein ziehe, ist Ambient immer wieder eine tolle Insel/Oase um halt zu machen und durchzuatmen. Oft finde ich die neueren Ambient Sachen eher zu "schmal" und die coolen alten Dinge sind sehr rar, aber das hier ist endgeil - fettes galaktisches Kino , Welten, die sich in meinem Geiste auftun! This is great, but....I have to say, I am still hooked on "Love is for the hardest people" after all these years. That was just such an awesome beautiful track. I still listen to it regularly after 25 years! It even influenced my own music. Those were the haydays and the sound was just awesome, robot-like but with feelings. And 'Sex with the machines'...what a semi-prophetic title! With the introduction of more and more advanced AI replacing humans...I feel sex with robots is not far away...😞

I like this alot! Really rich textures and what I remember as a eighties kid, SPACE SOUNDS! There are these Duran Duran songs Night Boat, and Tel Aviv. Those are my first introductions to this sort of ambience. Love those songs still today! This is like a very sparse but intense level of that remembrance. I said it before: Very appreciative of you keeping up the vision of yours through these sounds and rythms! Stay strong Anthony!🙏

Genialer Sound, danke für den Upload! Jetzt muß ich mal 2 Fragen loswerden O:-) - hättest Du nicht einmal Lust einen (SciFi-)Filmsoundtrack zu komponieren, das würde doch ideal passen? Und glaubst Du, daß sich Deine Musik sehr ändern würde, wenn Du statt blauer z.B. gelbe Lampen verbaut hättest? Ich finde das Blau unterstreicht deinen Sound, aber beeinflusst es ihn auch? Viele Grüße!
