When the Lion fought the Night Bringer, when the Necron attacked him, he was wounding on 4s and not 3s. The Lion likely would have survived that fight.

That’s a very good point. We rushed that final interaction and I think Dan assumed the lion was around t6 opposed to the whopping T9 he is! Good catch mate and thank you!

They aren’t push overs and have some great tricks. I much prefer them now, if I had a more sensible army I may have stood a chance!

Im so glad i got to see that DA detachment in action. Really helps me see how my units will do in actual battle. Im new to the game so i need experience to see how well they actually work and what their weaknesses are. I am using a 10 man command squad as well. Ill be getting the lion soon. But i also have hell blasters, inceptors and a redemptor dreadnought. Might need to fluff some other units in but i need some experience in battle to know where my weaknesses are

Welcome to the hobby and the channel! You’ve got a solid tough fundamental already with the command squad. Adding the lion gives an absolute power house and another awesome model! Might be worth getting azrael to join the hell blasters (we have some videos covering this topic and why!). Get playing games get learning and keep learning from your mistakes in game, if you need any help hop in our discord my guy!

The 4+ invuln will be nice to keep my blasters alive and in gladius with tactical doctrine to fall back and shoot...man...talk about destruction. I will definitly be tuning in to the videos to come! It’s the one from creature caster! It’s not the cheapest but all their deamon and warhammer proxies are excellent. Considering the nightbringer has got to be pushing 30 years old we Didint want to buy it!

you can use Blast if its targeting something not in combat

Vehicles and combat is one we haven’t quite perfected the rules on, can they always shoot out but are otherwise locked up in combat and just take the modifier? Downside being if it’s blast they have to shoot elsewhere? Thanks for the catch mate!

They can always shoot anything while in combat at -1 to hit. Blast weapons can never be shot into an engagement. Those are the only 2 things to really remember.@@narrativecrusades707
