@@pyrovania Any ol' timey cartoon that has "Directed by Chuck Jones/Tex Avery" can't go wrong. TW: some of the humor that involves black people/other etnicithies HAS NOT AGED WELL. AT ALL.
@@romerobryan83 Well, that's not what the ratings indicate, and it lost money at the box office, so most people do not agree with you. It's like Mike's buddy, Dana Carvey, in The Master of Disguise. Talented people can make some really awful movies.
@@ClayLoomis1958 yes because most people watched it expecting to see a cat in the hat kids movie (which is fair given that it’s literally that) but if you watch it with an open mind a lot of people think it’s quite funny
I don't think you need to worry about Cat in the Hat; but not seeing Eddy Murphy in the role of Donkey (in Shrek) is just something you owe to yourself :D
The first couple seasons of Spongebob are hilarious and NOT just for kids...some of the same people from Ren & Stimpy worked on it. Much later we went back and watched some episodes of Ren & Stimpy...we didn't realize how absolutely f****ed up and demented it was when we were little. But we turned out alright, I think...also X-Men the Animated series had plenty of innuendos.
The Jack Black film clip was from School of Rock, I believe. It's worth a watch, for sure. Another GREAT Jack Black film, with Duane "The Rock" Johnson and Kevin Hart as well, is Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle. I'd recommend watching the first, original Jumanji with Robin Williams, and then the modern Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, followed by the sequel Jumanji: The Next Level.
The Cat in the Hat with Mike Myers is hot garbage. A blatant perversion of the original. It's seriously bad. Do not bother with it, it's trash. Anyone saying otherwise is trolling.
Do not, I repeat, do not watch Cat in the hat. They were trying to recapture the success of How the Grinch stole Christmas and it was a huge flop. There were a few, very few, actual funny parts.
Oh yeah, Shrek is required viewing, young man! That movie where he was saying This Family Needs More Balls is Dark Shadows. I would love to see you react to that one!
Cat in the Hat is no beuno. Shrek is HILLARIOUS - and it has stars Mike Meyers (Austin Powers) as Shrek! I think you'll appreciate it much more than Cat in the Hat.
The vampire one was Dark Shadows, a parody of a 70s drama. The one with Jack Black was School of Rock. The one with the "bunnies and stuff" was Zootopia.
Fun fact about the Shrek movies: Donkey was voiced by none other than Eddie Murphy, you nailed it! Seriously, the Shrek films are a must-see, the first one at the very least. The second is good, too, but after that, I felt they were a little boring. The robots they were showing are from Robots (fun movie). The animals in clothes (fox & rabbit) going through the "nudist" area is Zootopia (highly recommend). If you like animated, I also really recommend Megamind, Despicable Me, and The Incredibles (they were showing clips from The Incredibles, too). The animated vampire & skeletons in the shower was from Hotel Transylvania (funny movie). The dark clips of the family around the dinner table was from Dark Shadows, which I personally hated because I'm a fan of the original Dark Shadows series, and the movie pooped all over it, truly awful. I had such high hopes with Tim Burton and Johnny Depp, but....oh, well.
@@ivylasangrienta6093 I love the series. I believe that Hulu has both the original and the reboot series (which I have yet to see). The first season is mostly a Gothic ghost story ambience, but then they introduce Barnabas Collins, and the supernatural aspect expands. It's essentially a Gothic soap opera, lol. It was unique for its time.
I've thought about starting a reaction youtube, but then I got to thinking....not much I HAVEN'T seen or done or read or heard about We'll leave it to Mr.Video
Well I think it’s pretty obvious what movies you need to react to next…all the Shrek movies!! Lol. They’re amazing. Even if you don’t react to them, you need to see them anyway lol.
You should do the original Lion King even though you’ve seen it🤙 love to hear why you enjoy it so much, I know a lot of us 90s kids loved that movie. Even though it’s a mirror image of the Third Reich😳
Yeah watch cat in the hat, and also cool runnings, nobody has done a reaction to that for some reason - also if you've not seen anchorman you need to lol
Just want to say that my sons are in their mid and late 20s, they grew up watching all of this with me! I got every adult reference and I laughed about it all. They put those jokes in for the parents, who are half asleep on a Friday night & in the recliner while their kids are on the couch giggling, eating popcorn and watching whatever movie they picked for the night. Good memories! Also my Dad used to hug and kiss on my mom in front of us kids and she would say "Don't do that, there are children present l," my dad would say "how do you think they got here?" They would laugh & I saw my parents loving each other. Good parents don't try to shield their children from all of the adult humor but allow it on a level that they can understand it without it being inappropriate! Besides, I saw live in real life that most of the stuff just goes right over kids heads 😂
What the heck was that? Well I’ll tell you Leo That is Johnny Depp in Dark Shadows. Another Classic Johnny Depp movie is Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street. 💯❤️
This kind of thing goes waaay back, almost to the first cartoon. I remember, when I was 12, I was cleaning the house with the TV on as background noise, and the cartoons were on the afternoon showing. Now, I'd seen this Dudley Dooright cartoon a dozen times as a younger kid; but in the episode where Snidely Whiplash had blackmailed Nell, the Commandant's daughter, into marrying him . . . Dudley is helping the Commandant get ready to give Nell away, and says, "Just think, Commandant; in a few hours you'll be able to call Snidely your son-in-law!" The Commandant replies, "That's not the kind of son I want to call him." I burst into surprised laughter, just then having caught the joke. Fast forward to Rocko's Modern Life, which I was watching with my nephew, and Mr. Frog is coming over to try to join Rocko and the younger dudes in order to get some of his lost youth back. Rocko answers the door, with a tiny ping-pong paddle in his hand. In the background, his friends are holding tiny ping-pong paddles, sitting around a table with a board game set up in the center: a board, some game pieces, and -- in the center, on a raised dais which apparently spins -- a little baboon model with his hands on his knees and his red ass stuck out . . . So they were sitting around playing "spank the monkey." I laughed for five minutes straight, and when my nephew asked what was so funny, I said, "When you're older you'll get it."
The original lion kid was the shit Leo. Personally I didn't like cat in the hat I grew up watching the original cat in the hat and read Dr Seuss when I was coming up
But he will likely like it because its basically Austin powers does Cat in the hat more then its Actually cat in the hat and since he likes Austin powers he will likely like the humor in it.
Recipie for success: 1. Keep kids ignorant all the way up until wedding night, let them figure out nature. 2. Create movies that kids will "die" to see. Kids can watch the same movie a thousand times..leading to parents buying all those tickets. 3. Mix in sexual situations and jokes to keep the parents entertained.
The Jack Black movie is School of Rock. A decent movie. Fakes being a teacher and teaches a classroom in a higher class school how to become a rock and roll band.
You need to check out Rory Gallagher. The man whom Jimi Hendrix said was the greatest guitar player in the world. Also the man whom inspired Slash and Brian May said gave him his sound. Philby, Shadow Play, Bad Benny and Moonchild would be my first recommendations.
The movie with Jack Black is called " School of Rock " and its one of my all time favorites. Please fit that movie into your schedule. I promise you will Love it!
Wow this was a long one! LOVE IT and..... YES! That's Mike Myer's (Austin Powers!).... and YES! Do "Cat In The Hat"!! BUUTTTT..... More importantly...... I can't believe you haven't seen the "SHREK" movies!! OMG!! That's GREAT for us though!! lol!! DEFINITELY do ALL the "SHREK" movies!!! Eddie Murphy (Donkey) and Mike Meyers (Shrek) KILL it in those movies!!! The "LION KING" has a special place in my heart.... my oldest son and I had some great times watching it together!! P.S....Hahaha!! Foot size is NOT representative of the size of that certain part of the male anatomy! TRUST me!! Nor does hand, ear or nose size have any relation to it!! Lolol!! GREAT REACTION.... good on you!! Keep bringing the heat!!! ;) ;)
Nah man. The parents totally noticed. We loved it because it was funny and the kids are too innocent to notice during the ages that they watch these on endless repeat.
WTH I seen almost all these movies I missed all this 😂. Shrek is my fav movies, donkey ( Eddie Murphy) is hilarious. Needed your big smile today, oh and your shoe size is already out there 😂 Shhh 🤫 👍😂👍. 💕😘💕
Hahaha!! You're too funny!!! We have his shoe size "evidence" in a few of his recent vids!! I wonder if that's why he moved them out of the camera's view!! lolol!! But yeah, we should Shhh about that!! The Shrek movies are on the top of my all-time favorites list too!! Eddie Murphy kills it as Donkey and Mike Meyers was the perfect choice for Shrek!! Can't wait for Leo to get to those!! See ya around.... :)
Keep in mind folks, most of these movies are for teens and older, it isn't meant to be noticed by the younger kids, it's meant to keep the adults engaged. All of these are P.G and P.G 13 rated, animated content doesn't automatically mean kid friendly, never has. Yes, even finding Nemo was rated p.g these are all great movies, and the innuendo goes far deeper than this compilation shows, so,, MY GUY!!!!! All the movies in this are awesome, cept maybe Cat in the Hat🙄 you really are missing out on Shrek, it's more of a young teen movie lots of poop and 3rd grader gross jokes, but all of them are REALLY funny.
