Baran always had a good shot to win against vearn even in his young prime body I would say a good 35 % chance to catch him off guard and kill him that's why vearn was so wary to challenge him and used dirty trick to get rid of him he didn't want to take no gamble. Don't get me wrong vearn is still much more stronger than him but he was too afraid of the dragon knight battle experience and the unknown potential of the dragon crest.
I think he had a good chance to wipe him in his Dragonoid form vs Vearn's old form. Dai's base two crest can best old Vearn so im guessing Baran's Dragonoid form is close enough to that level to peak the fear
@@Avocado_Ruler Hardly. Baran, full power and dragonoid, is on the same level of golem Vearn and semi-dragonoid Dai. It can be debated who is stronger than who, but the idea that Vearn could simply dismiss Baran is absurd. It would be interesting to see if Dragonoid Baran, by himself, could defeat the ultimate defense of Vearn though.

And even then, even Dai with the twin Crests was totally outmatched by Vearn's young self, so Baran would stand no chance. The final boss in that kind of story is always the most powerful character till the hero reaches him. Baran could roast anyone but him. Period.

Man if baran fought with vearn he can beat vearn if vearn is using his staff of edacity because it can drain his magic power and it weakens him wich means baran can stand a chance. However killvearn and mystvearn are there so he cant kill vearn.

Vearn tenía miedo y respeto por Baran ademas de que aqui Vearn solo dispone de su cuerpo sabio y anciano sin su fuerza física. Y bueno a estas alturas del anime Dai es casi tan fuerte como Baran contra el cuerpo completo de Vearn,aunque aun le queda por mejorar

De Vearn se dice en el manga que (al menos en su forma verdadera) es más poderoso que los dioses que crearon el mundo y al Dragon Knight. Además, si no me equivoco, el Dai actual es más poderoso que Barán, sumado a que tiene los dos emblemas del dragón (el suyo y el de su padre, con parte de su poder y toda la experiencia de los Dragon Knight), y lucha en equipo + objetos de recuperación mientras que Vearn está sólo. Vearn tenía respeto por Barán por su poder, pero sobretodo porque temía el poder de los Dragon Knight, que con cada generación se hacían más poderosos. O eso creo recordar. Pero de Vearn ya se dice que su poder todavía no tenía parangón en los tres mundos, y dudo que Barán hubiese podido hacerle frente luchando en un 1 contra 1.

Dai with twin Draconic crests is stated to be more powerful then Dragonoid Baran and it makes sense considering it’s Dai’s Draconic Crest + Baran’s Draconic Crest and Dai also gained besides Baran’s crest the knowledge and fighting experience of all dragon knights and I assume u saw the manga since u mentioned young Vearn?
But here’s a full explanation SPOILERS AHEAD SPOILERS AHEAD SPOILERS AHEAD SPOILERS AHEAD SPOILERS AHEAD SPOILERS AHEAD SPOILERS AHEAD It’s stated by Vearn that Dai with the twin crests is stronger then Dragonoid Baran and it’s later stated that Dai was holding back the power of Baran’s Crest that he was only using 3.5 power out of 10 and using his crest at a 10 out of 10 so Dai holding back with the twin crests > Dragonoid Baran then after Vearn becomes young Dai uses both crests and full power and then puts them on his forehead where it’s stated the crest is at its strongest there and he merges both crests turning them into a Draconic Crown so now Dai >>> Dragonoid Baran cuz the Demon Dragon Blade is strong enough to endure Baran’s power but when Dai got the demon dragon blade and used it against Young Vearn who’s transformed into this giant beast by unleashing the max power of his 3rd eye Baran’s soul tells Dai that the Demon Dragon Blade will shatter since Dai is way to strong and Vearn is too strong Dai also can use Giga Strash which is far far superior to Giga Break so no Dai is indeed the strongest

In fact, Baran is the one who will defeat King Varen, even if the last is in his ideal form.. And the reasons are many: First: Baran and Dai equlize when they fought each other because Baran put the human heart aside during the battle, and it is known that the dragon form of Baran combines the strength of the dragon, the cunning of the Demon and the feelings of humans during the fight. Second: Baran did not find it difficult to defeat Haddler when he was in the the super demon form, because the first fought him using the three advantages mentioned above.. And Hadler would have been able to kill King Varen If Zapoera had not intervened then. Third: If King Farn did not know for sure that he would not survive a confrontation with Baran, he would not have used the trick, I mean the black core, to kill Baran and avoid any confrontation with him. Conclusion: Baran with his human heart and a dragon sword has the priority in eliminating King Farn with his own wand, but he certainly will not survive his mortal wounds..
@@edwinoers Maybe.... or maybe not. Dragonoid Baran is comparable to Dragonoid Dai, maybe even a little stronger. It would be more of a coin toss, how much Baran can be damaged before overcoming Vearn ultimate defense.

@@KorenRedLotusThe best i can recall are Baran thinking Dai's power is close to his (in humanoid form) when they faced Hadler for the last time, or Vearn complimenting Dai on his strenght when he wasa offering him to join up. But a real comparison between the two has never happened. On the contrary, we have Baran stating that due to his mainly human blood Dai would never fully transform - which is exactly what happened. Dai's transformation is clearly incomplete, and arguably weaker.
@@Origami84 Dai cannot transform but does not need to. He could cast Doraura without transforming, something that is repeatedly stated before and after that no Dragon Knight ever could before. So the point is moot. Baran even says before dying that his son is a worthier Dragon Knight. Velzar does say that Dai is far from matching his father when Dai is broken by despair due to the imminent explosion of the Pillars of Vearn's Black Cores, yes. But Vearn mocks his hypocrisy and says point blank that Dai surpasses Baran in every way but rage. Baran stated that Dai was getting closer to him, but soon after Dai got effortlessly trashed by Vearn. Dai needed the Twin Crest to defeat Vearn, who explicitely calls him the mightiest being in the surface when he tries to convince him to join his ranks, and the only one he is worried about. Dai even note before the fight begins that contrary to their last meeting Vearn is nervous and going all out.

You have no idea of what you are talking about. A planet is nothing compared to a star, none of the is large star level, but even if a star is nothing compare to a galaxy, dai not even close to that.
i disagree in his older form king vearn would lose easily in Dragonoid form Baran.In his younger form i Believe its debatable i will give it to Dark king Vearn in high difficulty
And here is the reason why baran cant beat vearn easily because vearn is stronger than the gods and the gods made the dragon knight so baran cant beat him easily unless vearn is using his staff of edacity and buy time to drain his magic power.
baran can easy win against old vearn, the fight against full power vearn would be very great and terrible, but at the end baran loose, it tooks dai and baran to win that, and not easily
Vearn says it himself, Baran as a Dragonoid would have been a very dangerous enemy for him due to his battle instinct and impredictability, but certainly not enough. Dai could only fight his old self with the Twin Crest, and still needed a double Doraura to defeat him. Dai with the Twin Crests is explicitely stated to be superior to Baran in every domain, and even he was completely outmatched by Vearn in his rejuvenated state. And let's not even get started on the Sovereing Supreme, who surpassed even Dragonoid Dai. So no, Baran stands no chance. Best he could hope for is a victory against Vearn's old self, and that's not guaranteed. But Vearn is certain to wreck him as soon as he rejuvenates.
