He didn't necessarly do it to save inoue or ishida, he did it to break ichigo's hollowfication and hopefully have enough power left to fight ichigo until either of them was truly and permanently dead. Shortly after though, ulquiorra's injuries proved too much and he couldn't stay alive long enough to fight ichigo again.

@@domking698 nah he didnt regen cause when ulquiorra got his arms caught by zangetsu (white) he krtp talking about his special regen ability...White was standing hearing him out after that explanation White planned to hit him with the cero to stop him from regenerating...The injuries would ve healed if Ulquiorra didnt talk about how hes a rzgen expert and white wouldnt have hit him with a point blank cero

@@mahdivikia5827 Even without cero, hollowfied ichigo was able to stop a lanza del rampago with his bare hands. And that wasn't even a completed hollowfication. Ulquiorra stood no chance, cero or no cero. His only chance to win was when white was momentarily supressed because of ichigo's desire to save inoue overpowering white's consciousness. Ulquiorra was smart and did exactly what he had to do, but the damage was already done.

He’s the strongest Espada at that time and probably stronger than aizen before he complete his form, ulquiorra tbh was underrated because we don’t anything to compare ichigo’s hollow form with

Not only that , we saw with Hikone , a zampakutou that have a Hollow as it's Sword Spirit , with a Shikai and later a Ressurectión. It all comes down to training and how a hybrid wants to manifest their power.

Vizards are specifically ex-shinigami who gained hollow powers through hollowfication from the hogyoku. Ichigo was born with his powers, which were a combined shinigami and hollow powers, so I wouldn't place him as a Vizard, rather a hybrid (because of his 3rd power as well). The mask that comes out from Ichigo is actually his hollow and shinigami powers combined, whilst for a Vizard the mask is purely hollow.
