Dark Matter Episodes 1 and 2 Review *NO SPOILERS* 

I had some mixed feelings going into Dark Matter. On one hand, Apple has been crushing sci-fi. There are several not good - but GREAT - sci-fi shows on Apple right now. Solid cast and concept too. Then, I read the reviews of the book. I’ll just say they were mixed but leaned toward the negative … and leaned toward the negative in ways that were concerning for me - ESPECIALLY when considering that the author of the book is the showrunner! Can I expect the same issues that critics had with the novel to be present on the show? So that’s where I sat mentally coming into these first two episodes, and …what did I think?
