Wow that was a short movie. I'm so glad i took the 3 minutes to watch it!

Don't you miss the time when trailers didn't feel the need to spoil the whole freaking plot of a movie? At least now I don't have to pay AppleTV to watch this

Somebody watched Sliders in the 90s. This is almost the plot of Sliders. Only difference in sliders it wasn't a box. Guy continuing his father's research accidentally created a wormhole device and him and for other random people got trapped on a random alternate Earth he kept travelling from alternate reality to alternate reality trying to find the original reality he came from in an infinite number of realities. And eventually ended up being followed by a race of people that were conquering one reality after another that were kind of like the Nazis except they were taking over entire realities not just one planet they were called the cro-mags or something like that. If memory serves me and the storyline he found his way back home and the cro-mags followed him to his reality and took it overWas really dark and creepy towards the end all the original cast one by one died as the show progressed. By the end of the series the guy that had made the device technically died one of the other characters had been trying to find him but basically he was dead and that was why they couldn't get to him two of the four of that had been stuck travelling with him died in different episodes and number three of the four was in a coma and if memory serves me the character died in a coma character number for infected themselves with a virus to spread it through the Invaders and wipe them out so that guy basically died because he infected himself with a virus.

The book was phenomenal…an absolute rapid fire page turner. cant wait for this adaptation.

Reminds me of Jet Li's "The One" or that Twilight Zone episode, "The Parallel"

Dark Matter?? Should have been named something else. There was an amazing series named Dark Matter on Syfy channel.

Omg i loved this book. It was one of two i read when i started reading again after 30 years. I was literally just don't hollywood needed to go to books for originals ideas and brought up this book. I CANNOT WAIT

I have read the book and it is a phenomenal read. Let's hope the movie does it justice.

Did anyone else think this was gonna be a continuation of the series of the same name back in 2015 by just the title? I thought it was gonna be a like a Firefly send off with serenity, not just a completely different movie with the same name.

I think I’ve seen this concept several times. Twilight zone, a kids horror book I read when I was young that I can’t remember, another tv show from a while ago I don’t remember. Something happens to a guy and things in his life are changed people, don’t recognize him. But illl still watch this one

The book was incredible. I don’t like the choice of actors for this series as Daniela and Amanda are different in the book. But from what I’ve read, the author, Blake Crouch is behind the tv series so he must have approved all the changes. I’m glad the trailer doesn’t show how the story unfolds towards the end.

I watched a movie just like this a couple years ago, where someone goes through a computer to another reality to steal the life of himself because it was better than his own reality.

In almost all depictions of "parallel universes" the universes they go to for some reason always has the same set of characters just different lives. In the reality of parallel universes and the mere quantity and randomness of it.... the main character would wake up in a universe and he doesn't even know who's in it. maybe he wakes up in the middle of space and immediately dies. maybe he wakes up with creatures that arent even human. maybe he wakes up in a world where english didn't even exist.

I pray the director doesn't ruin this.

Why can't multiverse stories be fun? Is there a law forcing them all to be gritty, depressing stress-fests?

Why call it Dark Matter when Multiverse seems more descriptive. I think I'll wait for the stream to enter my dimension.
