What a journey?!? These are the stories that make collecting so interesting. The ups and the downs, the struggle to find that certain toy needed.. but when it comes to fruition then it all seems worth it. I've always loved the aesthetic choices of the 'Bayverse' when it comes to the robots and the vehicles. Maybe not so much the movies though. Lovely insight in to the world of collecting robot cars with guns on them.
My opinions on all the Bayverse Transformers movies: Transformers: Awesome! Revenge of The Fallen: Meh. Dark of The Moon: Good! Age of Extinction: Bad! The Last Knight: Abomination!
Can't believe it took them this long. I'm looking to get these myself. Already have an SS Roadbuster on the way. Hoping to get the other 2 eventually. Then I plan to get the Toyhax labels for them. THEN the DNA Design upgrade kit for them. This is going to be quite the endeavor.
thx for sharing:) Been collecting and upgrading some 64th-scale TF-related vehicles(DCP's Peterbilt 379 and Legend-Class Wreckers included) for quite some time.. I'm also having a hard time DIY the unweaponized topspin:( I'll upload my models later and share it with you guys
Congrats you got them mate! And you referenced Bot Shots at the end... which DO count! DOTM is not the worst Bayformers movie; that award I reserve for ROTF 😉
I’d probably have to say the last one was the worst. Last Knight? Really messy! If only I’d gotten those Bot Shots back in 2011! I may have been a fully functional adult these days!
@@Junkheapdave666 So many collectors will be therapy over the Earthrise exclusives, but they gave us Prime Breakdown after 9 years! Maybe 9 years is how patient you have to be as an adult! 😉
Which 8 bit or 16 bit soundtrack did you use I must know!!!! Either way interesting video you would think Hasbro would think of doing a matching set... Huh
I think this might have to do with the car manufacturers having to sign off on the designs. They're not all gonna agree with having the car decked out with guns. Sometimes they change their minds, though. For years Volkswagen held it's foot down against having a VW Beetle alt for Bumblebee. I'm glad they turned around for the last few years. Sometimes a disagreement will end up with a toy having a different alt mode from their movie counterpart. I understand it can be frustrating, but as a collector I wouldn't lose any sleep over it.
The first 4 films were great. 5 and bee were just abysmal. But anyways transformers means alot to me and always will. Its what got me hooked on the concept of film making and what made me want to pursue acting. And hey its not pitiful! You got attached to these specific alt modes and wanted all 3 and you got determined to get them that's pretty cool. I relate in a somewhat similar way but with the tf5 movie itself. Age of extinction is my favourite movie and I particularly loved the story and the cliffhanger ending. I was so obsessed and enthralled for 3 years on tf5 and wanting it to continue yet when the movie did come out I was disappointed for the first time ever with transformers. Fairly depressed about it even. But I still buy toys and the last Knight branding in particular still means a lot because it goes beyond the movie to me and becomes symbolic of a specific time in my life.
