I got bored and wrote a poem for this dark Poseidon. Observe. Please let me know what you think. While his chariots blaze, harkened forth midst the calm. An invidious gaze, casted ill-forsaken psalm. As the thundering waves, wan malicious intent. While Charybdis raves, inimical portent. Verily hunting his lot, chanted myriad tongues. Deftly hanging the rot, cross many hooks and rungs. The depths sunless and cold, those damned and forgotten. Sunken legions untold, egregiously rotten. 'Neath pointed Trident, and skewered detritus. Inimically strident, wretched seas doth invite us. To the depths we'll be sent, like unwilling pariahs. Eternally bound, frozen unto Cocytus. He smiles at us all, vile tempest of fury. Lascivious Sirens call, as both judge and jury. Earth-Shakers denigration, the middle of three. Thalassic castigation, from the Lord of the Sea.
Sa-WEET! I was waiting for the next in the series...I love the art. It makes the Greek Pantheon look like demonic fading shades condemned to wander the world for eternity. Felled by hubris and in denial at their lot, none may escape the Fates. Not even the gods. And of course, the music itself is sublime and speaks of far gone glory.
Deliciously haunting! 👍 Was trying to work out whether what sounds like a bell toll at the end was actually that or it coincidentally sounded like one. Either way it marries the music and artwork perfectly 👏👏
